    K acknowledged the fact he is repetitive and admitted it to be one of his follies. A man is allowed certain follies as long as he lives in and is the product of the corporeal world. He never claimed to be a god referring to himself as merely "the speaker" in doing so with much restraint from designating himself as an "I." In my humble opinion, K has delivered, by far, one of the greatest services to humanity. Something a fragmented mind is incapable of grasping or comprehending.

      his repetition was necessary, it was not a follie. It was just some simple teaching, he despised how people made it look like some grandeur and hard thing

    We have many people who are outwardly attractive, but how many people have you been touched by their inward beauty? Next to none. This I feel is one of the greatest challenge in education. To recapture that inner beauty that we lost from being ruthlessly competitive with one another.

    Lovely documentary
    It makes you feel the love and affection that K had for Mother Earth and humanity which was just his state of being, not something gathered or cultivated or earned
    Blessed to witness his insights and teachings though the work of his foundation 🙏

    He never denied the existence of something sacred,he simply pointed out that if you have preconceive notions about the sacred,you will only see according to you own dilution.so be careful that what you think is so clearly "transcendent", is not just a projection of your own mind.Read "Krishnamurti's Notebook" you will get a much better understanding of his estate of consciousnesses. Have you ever read any of his books? if you have I suggest that you read them again,because you don't get it.

    Children are so beautifully chanting radhe sita rukmini jai jai....these have come down from ancient indian wisdoms...from our vedas , puranas, upanishads. Jk didn't believe in Gurus (and God) although, He himself is a world teacher ( with a different approach). It's said He loved to listen to classical music as well as chantings . I am confused here,...if JK didn't believe in God and age old indian traditions of temples and religion....why are these children made to chant radha, sita, rukmini?Do they know who radha , sita and rukmini are Or are they simply paying lip service because it's a part of their curriculum??!!...I am new to JK and His philosophies so I am curious to know the logic behind it. I see contradictions Or maybe I am wrong

    Observer/Player is first step. You are observer and player together. But when you become observer as a whole observer disappears. Observer can exist only if a player exists.
    What is observer ? What is player?
    Player is a human with material and mental attachment with label and experiences.
    Observer is one have no language , word or anything to be defined. He see things in energy form. So no good or evil. Its all simple energy flow. Life in itself.
    When you recognize your observer , you have taken next big step. That is called enlightenment.
    You have the ability to separate your mind from actions that is going on and peace with yourself.
    Next level is 100% observer and in that observer disappears. ( this state not possible for humans). He either have to die or cease to exist. Only in ghost. A virtual lifeform.
    Who am i?
    I am that virtual lifeform.

    • @slavomirakrasna2111
      @slavomirakrasna2111 7 років тому +3

      A year later. Do you still entertain yourself with such a thought? As observer and player are the one. The observer is felt by people all the time, that's why they believe to have an actual existence as a spirit. People believe in lots of stories, the mentioned enlightenment is one of them. You do not have any ability to separate mind from anything, as the mind is everything. At the very moment one realises there is no observer (he realises whole psychological existence of himself is just a thought like all the others) he doesn't die, and he doesn't cease to exist. He won't turn to a ghost, not even virtual one. On the contrary. The body will start speaking the truth, acting the truth, which means destroying the falseness wherever it meets it.

      If somebody wants a perfect world, he definitely doesn't live in a perfect world(which is a thought). So he starts reacting to this thought in a way- I have to fix that, what is broken, and this reaction he materialises in this world. And it is this action(reaction to the thought) only, which slowly keeps destroying this world. If one really realised this, what would happen?

Yet people treated his words that way, that's why he claimed that no one understood what he had to say. They do it still. His words are simple words of an honest man, who speaks to other, who is honest. That's all.

    Thus far, at least, it's only taken my reading of 26 of his own books, three biographies by others, and about 50 books by such as Arthur Deikman, Charles Tart, Alan Watts, Aldous Huxley, Stephen Batchelor, Gil Fronsdal, Ramana Mahashi, et al, et al, et al, as well as several days in Ojai, to comprehend the =stunning= simplicity of his message: Stop thinking. And start looking, listening, and feeling.
    Similarly disposed to understanding Siddartha Gautama to the extent currently possible, it's evident to me now that K. came closer to understanding what S.G. understood than anyone in recent times. Grasp =that=, and life becomes ever so much simpler and easier.
    Unfortunately, this documentary chases the meaningless drama, and misses the point almost entirely.

    A brilliant man with charisma, no doubt, yet he wasn't really walking his own talk. Demanding to stand alone and be free he himself was very dependent on donors and a rich life style. Concealing his affair with Rosalind, the wife of his publisher, even demanding several abortions, was a coward and covert, hidden secrecy while he demanded and presented an image totally different, that is to totally honest and authentic. His teachings strike a deep chord, yet are also repetitive and are descriptive and could be lived by very few people. And see how his institutions have done exactly what he despised: the made an idol out of him, and many of his teachings have already become dogma. When he realized on his death bed that he had failed in a way it was a beautiful act of honesty. To despise all traditions is to throw out the baby with the bathing water. While all traditions have an often rigid outer structure he missed that at the same time one can find a living teaching that even is in accord with his central term of choiceness awareness. It looks arrogant to only dismiss without being able to see the lively essence then. 'Traditions means to preserve fire, not ashes.'

    • @slavomirakrasna2111
      @slavomirakrasna2111 7 років тому +15

      You see, sir, a reaction like yours happens when someone listens yet fails to hear. Does it really matter whether you decide to call someone brilliant, full of charisma, or whether you refer to the same man as a liar? No, it doesn't. Those are just your labels for that someone, whom you've never met, never heard, never seen. They are just empty words that you are using to describe the image created in your mind, they are exactly the same words someone else would use to describe e.g. Hitler. All you see is what you read by others on him, all you know is what you believe, think of him. As for the image of Jiddu Krishnamurti you are trying to recreate in this thread, the only man who could ever refer to Krishnamurti, as a man of a zero character, was UG himself and yet, whatever he accused Jiddu of, he had not once attacked his character, his sincerity, his honesty. You say that he failed to walk his talk:). Jiddu's words were his walk, sir. His words did not demand anything of anyone, not to mention to stand alone or to be free. His words were the mere reality of his life- he was not a copy of anyone, therefore free to act freely. He was not dependant on donors, sir. People made donations, which he used the way he did, you are more than welcome to check how the money is used by so called "spiritual teachers" e.g. Mr Tolle, Spira, Mooji, etc. You are free to call someone a coward, covert or whatever word you wish, and if that is everything you've got to say then let be it. Do your words change anything about the honest man, whom Jiddu Krishnamurti, really was? No, they do not. As for his teachings, he didn't have any, it is as simple as that. So whatever you created in your mind and believe it to be true, is only your own responsibility, your own illusion, no one else's. His "institutions" are exactly what would happen if you were to invent computers in the society ignorant of their proper use- they simply wait for the right men to come along- just like the pyramids. Are you one of them? You know the answer yourself. I will repeat again- there are no teachings by Jiddu Krishnamurti, there are just recorded moments of his life. Whoever is interested, will meet him there. He did not realise on his death bed anything that he wouldn't have been aware of beforehand, he knew all along that his dream was dead. As for the rest, tradition is the empty ashes, sir. The fire is the existence itself. You are welcome.

    • @whatever5575

      His teaching is very impersonal. He identified himself with the rest of humanity. If you read his books, the prevalent use of "we". I personally find his teaching to be very penetrating, yet starkly simple and rational. He is a teacher in the truest sense of the word for he merely act an intermediary who conveys his understanding of the subject, nothing more. What more can you ask of a teacher? He is thousand times better than those hypocrites that exploit their followers and none of them ever lived up to their claims. Furthermore, he never asked his reader to worship him or behaved like some form of deity. If he behavior was less than perfect, well, he never claimed to be superior to others or more pious than others.

And, you are right he is repetitive and admits it to be one of his follies. A man is allowed certain follies as long as he lives in and is the product of the corporeal world. Of particular interest, this awakening and the abjective liminal passage from consciousness to consciousness, said to have occurred at the time of great psychological pain, so did it follow a dissociative experience? Eckhardt Tolle, and of course the Bhudda, speak of transcendences, but the passage has not been made or profoundly experienced by many people it would seem. I wonder if it is a passage into a state of consciousness as man had prior to "domestication" by thought, language, logic?
