I saw a similar display of riding like this at a horse show on a large farm outside of a village south of Budapest, Hungary. It is simply astounding how graceful the rider and horses are.
Lorenzo seems to be one of the few who really are able to communicate with horses. He has lived since childhood, surrounded by these beautiful and strong animals, and over the years he has learned how to show love and appreciation towards them.He has become a world-renowned show after the kings, queens, and presidents with 18 horses. Absolutely amazing, must not be first time he is with horses that is for sure, amazing video! Even though i am not a horse expert or any, i can clearly see he rocks and dominates the animals. Perfect.
He does not dominate the horses. It woukd not work. It's a collaboration by communication and understanding the psychology of horses.
Domiation is not the way he uses that is cruel he uses trust and love domination is CRUELTY and he certainly is not a cruel man you dont get a bond with animals like that only if you LOVE and respect them

This is certainly impressive, but all I could think while watching was "Why does he have bits in their mouths at some point when he can clearly ride without??"
It's a part of his act because it shocks you when he takes it off
Lorenzo didn't invent riding while standing on two horses at the same time. It's called Roman riding, and it used to be a feature of Wild West shows. John Longden, the only person to both ride a Kentucky Derby winner (1943) and train one (1969), was a Roman rider before he became a jockey.
It's Hungarian post or Czikós, make a search with Google you'll see... Had been done in Hungary since et least the 18th century. I have also pics of my grand father, captain in the French cavalry, doing Hungarian post with 6 horses the 14th of July 1912 at Rheims.

Believe me, if these "poor dominated animals" didn't want to do what he's asking, they would trample his tiny ass in a heartbeat! In case yo haven't noticed, they are MUCH bigger than he is! Spoken by someone who has been around horses her whole life...

***** I can't disagree with you there. :) Though horses are a particular domesticated animal that is still very much of it's own mind - if it really doesn't want to do something, nothing will force it to perform. I've seen demonstrations like this before. Those who do these performances are connected to horses in such a way that they are almost one of the herd. There's trust there. If an animal trusts you, it will do as you ask. :)
