For some reason it cut a minute out of the video around 10:30. The advice I was giving there was to make sure the distributor is set to 10* and that it matches the 'reference angle' in the Holley Software. Sorry about that

@@RegularGuyGarage That's the problem I bought the engine years ago pre built from a old friend I have no contact with. It ran great had it tuned by a local Diablo Motorsports shop who used a chip on the stock ECU and they never asked specs they just tuned it. Theres no self learn feature or way to tune it without having the specs?
Sever people want me to get the Holley system, but I'm going to stick with stock ECU for my cars I think, but it's cool you cover this. Also I would buy a shirt.
I think for the SSP it might be a good system since you’re wanting to do a lot of racing with it. As for the convertible, the setup you have now is absolutely perfect for what you’re doing in my opinion
Kind thought running that green wire straight to power your fuel pump was a bad idea, I used it to turn on a relay with at least a 14 gauge power wire running straight from the battery to power my fuel pump. ESP if you have a larger fuel pump than factory (don't want your fuel pump to not have sufficient power ripping down the strip, go lean, and blow the motor). This was necessary for my 347 and would suggest for yours in the future.
Good tip! I thought he just wired it to the fuel pump relay? He snipped 2 pink wires and connected the green wire to them in a butt connector. I don't really understand it either, that's why I'm asking.. your saying don't do that? It looked like the simplest way to get it to work with what wires already exist.. thanks.
I’m so glad I came across this video I’ve been trying and trying to figure out if I was supposed to use both pink wires on my fuel pump relay spliced into the green 12 V trigger wire.. some cars have 4 wires some cars have 5 wires going into the relay.. It’s literally the last thing that I have to do for this installation so now I can finally finish!! Thank you 🙏🏼

If im not mistaken it only uses 1 a/f sensor right?if so I don’t understand only monitoring one bank instead of both . You should always monitor both banks in my opinion . An intake leak could really lean one side out and you might never know the issue was there until it’s too late
I am currently using the microsquirt from the EFISource. Right now I have it very well tuned, and it has been a pain to tune due to fairly big cam on my N/A 347 stroker. I think the microsquirt is not as powerful (smart/quick) as the Holley Terminator so I am thinking on switching to the Holley. I also have the same problem you have with the injector connector tabs all broken up so that is also getting my attention. I feel I need better control of the fuel delivery. Just got the term x installed in my 95 it all lights up and works but when I try to start the car I get a no crank can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong

But man I'm trying to contact Holley, but is near imposible, so my question is when I try to load a tune to to the sd card it shows as a pdf file I know there are two load on to the desk top and one of them just tell you what you just load on to the desk top but the second one keeps loading as a pdf I use open it as and try internet explorer and now it goes to media player, what should it be open with? I might be my fault on setting a default on the pc or my kids playing on it, if you could pls give me a hint
Ive honestly never had that issue. It should be a .terx file. Open the software and then click open global file and click on the file you’re trying to open
I does open on terminator x and saves normal, is just whenever I send it to the sd card or desktop it tryies to open with media player, and it does not say .terx file
I installed the terminator x on my Mcarlen but I can’t get it started because the voltage drops to 10.1 when starting. Do you know what the fix is for voltage drop?
I’d start off with the easy stuff, especially if you didn’t have the issue before installing it. Check all of your connections, especially the grounds and make sure they’re tight and have good clean connections. I added a 4 gauge ground wire from the drivers side of the block to the chassis to help out. After that I’d check to see if there’s any voltage drops at the starter solenoid. Could be a bad solenoid or even a bad starter. If all that stuff is solid maybe a bad battery.
How about some more info on your motor, heads..I am also using the 274hr on my 347. Any idea of what kind of power it makes? I've been watching and reading a lot about the terminator x, close to purchasing
Just tried to start my 306, brand new motor to the car. With the Holley, was unable to start it. If I make adjustments on my lap top do I have to hit save so it will download to the computer?
If you’re using the usb link you have to “send to ecu”. However first start I would use the startup wizard on the handheld. Make sure you do the tps auto set at the end too

Some guy's have mentioned you need to buy a 3 wire GM style oil and fuel pressure sensors
It comes with a oil pressure sensor and you can buy another pressure sensor from low-doller Motorsports

I have 4 wires with only one pink. Do i splice into the one pink or do I use the pink and another wire?

Yes. ECU only controls the engine.

Regular Guy Garage I had my battery checked yesterday and they said it was good. I only have one ground right now. I will add more
I had to change the starter solenoid on mine right after I installed my terminator x. Check that out too. They’re known for going bad

If you’re making changes on the computer with the memory card then yes, make sure you save it and then upload the tune you made changes to
