- In the locker room, Patrick asks Robin if he is the father of her baby. She turns around and tells him "yes." Robin explains to Patrick that she did not get intentionally pregnant by him. She tells him that she had already made arrangements with the sperm bank, but Georgie's death left her very needy and she went to him for comfort. She tells him that she was not trying to use him and she did not cause the condom to break. She tells him of the day she went to tell him to get tested, but when she overheard him telling Leo that his HIV test was negative, she was relieved because there was no reason to tell him anything. \Robin says that nothing had changed. She's going to have the baby and raise the baby on her own, just as she had planned to do, and no one would be the wiser. Robin continues to vent about Patrick's reluctance to have children and he does not disagree with it once. Patrick admits that he did not want a child, but now that it has happened, he wants to be part of the process. Robin tells Patrick that she does not want him to act only on obligation, so she rejects his reluctant offer of help and support. She tells him to go to the bar and find the hottest chick in the place to prove to himself that he is still emotionally eighteen. Patrick leaves the room as Robin is left in tears. Later, Robin meets with Kelly and has a sonogram, seeing her baby for the first time.

FIRST, this is some of the finest acting i've seen on daytime, primetime, film-anywhere. it's visceral, it's honest, it's grounded. the dialogue and delivery rings totally true. SECOND, kimberly mccullough is a truly phenomenal actress. i've never, ever seen her have a false moment in all these years as a fan. she elevates the game of each of her co-stars, which brings me to.... THIRD, jason thompson is smart enough to listen deeply and react to kimberly. that said, she chews him up in these scenes. he's good, even very good. but she's great. that difference is palpable to me. for e.g. i felt like i was watching JT react off KM, but not the other way around. (remember when faketrick was on for 2 episodes? KM was just as phenomenal with that actor as with JT.) when JT first came to GH he was mediocre at best (like vanessa marcil's early scenes). after years of working with KM he became a first rate actor. FOURTH, this is the stuff that needs to be nominated and win emmys. too often it's over-the-top, show-y acting. KM is a nuanced, subtle, grounded and stunning actress. she's as good as it gets!
Wow, not only is he incredibly good looking, but he is a really good actor.

They both acted their asses here, very good scenes. Robin sometimes break Patrick down with her words, I felt so bad for him near the end.

those two are amazing actors. this fight is their greatest scene, so intense and emotionally raw. it's even better than their romantic ones, and it's honestly the best, most realistic acting on a soap i've ever watched.

It still pisses me off that these two weren't nominated or win an Emmy for this storyline. This scene was one of many amazing scene but Kim and Jason.

yes, that is one of my theories. Also that trying to show that Layla was dismissed & acknowledging what she knew from the beginning that Patrick was in love with Robin the whole time they were together knowing that it’s the end of their relationships if you could call it that just hook up mostly
I love how Jason Thompson's(Patrick) eyes started to water and a few tears fell from them. It's so sexy when he or Jason(Steve Burton) cries. Had to mention Jason becuz I'm a major Liason fan.

is it weird that i've watched this scene so many times that i can practically recite the dialogue with them..? the writing and acting are just sooo amazing! i love scrubs in Non Crisis Time, but they are phenomenal in Crisis Time scenes like this.

+missyenn1987 Patrick always knew robin ... either when something was wrong or when she was withholding something from him even when she was presumed dead he had a strange feeling ..... now given that they have kidnapped her again and threatening emma why cant he realise that robin would never leave them like that .... she loves him and emma . he is too angry with robin and so called in love with sam thats a joke. Patrick go after her and find out the truth . Im sure when he realises why she left he's going to feel like a douche

Wow. I kind of get where she's coming from, but she has no right to cry after some of those horrible things she said to him. All he wanted was to tell her that since it was already done, he would step up. I'm looking at these earlier clips and I'm seeing a lot of things I missed the first time around. Making me a lot more sympathetic to Patrick.
katie9918 Eh I'm still #teamRobin in these scenes. She had every right to feel that way and get it off her chest. Patrick spent months punishing her for wanting kids by throwing his player ways in her face including with the nurse who interrupted them in the beginning of the scene. He convinced her. He's good at acting like the wounded party but he hurt her plenty.

Tiffany Thomas me to! he rejected the idea of a hypothetical child that didn't exist totally his right but once it became a reality he had every right to know, it's so fu$&ing selfish to take away his right to react and to be present for this unplanned person. She does it again every time she ditches them to save Jason and sells it as protecting them just tell your hot hubby the truth fool.
