- For the sake of transparency, I thought this would be a fun video to do. What {collection-related} I bought, where I got it, and how much I spent. Sales, full price, thrift?
Also, it's kind of a preview of what's to come I guess? Because I'm slow at editing my videos so... you'll see videos for some of these dolls in the next couple weeks!

I have bought quite a bit of dolls in January but they were all 50% off or less. Mainly SH and RH dolls. I also bought a lol tweens and mini Barbie Extra also 50% off and a 2 pack of Ddung dolls 60% off. I also thrifted a few treasures all very cheap. It is a lot and I don't normally do that but to find SH dolls so reduced does not happen very often in Europe!
I want to do a "low buy" year in 2024. I have space issues and I also want to not spend much. I will of course carry on thrifting. I just want to minimise my purchases in shops.
Hard to resist a sale - especially in Europe, I can't believe the retail prices over there! Thrifting dolls is my favorite - you get cheap dolls AND a sense of accomplishment when you conquer their issues.
Yes, and the joy of finding them unexpectedly and to give them a second life!
I spent way too much in January and I refuse to total it out because it'll hurt too much. 😬😬 However, I'm having a no-buy February. My spending was prompted, I think, by a fear of missing out since MGA has cut back on quality for its Rainbow High and LOL OMG lines, so I felt I had to get the older dolls while I could.
That is absolutely part of it! It seems like they’re going to phase out the older ones, so I got nervous about needing to find them second hand!
