very nice setup ! hope to catch you on the airwaves - have you considered getting into sats with the 9700 ? you could start with the ISS with the x300n
Was going to ask would you recommend a cobweb antenna currently using a DX commander Rapide would love a Hexbeam but don’t think I would have enough air space in the garden
@@hamradiostationg0dtx583 I have been impressed with the DxC it’s been up since May and even with poor propagation I have still managed some great contacts tend to listen for the Pota / Sota stations and got a few in the log. Great video chap keep them coming. Like to see how the X300 performs regards Tony M7CVK/P
Yeah wouldn't get me up there either. What are you doing with the cobweb, want me to recycle ♻️ it for you? 😉 Am sure it's bloody high once up there 73
Would you recommend a cobweb antenna for a small garden? I wouldn't be able to get it as high as you, or go for a dx commander type of antenna? Are you bringing the cobweb down for maintenance? 73
it's all relevant the cobweb is good but height is might over the gutter they work good I've never had a DX commander but I know they do work if you have space for the radials on the ground yes the cobweb is down for good 73 john G0DTX
