ERICO Copper Grounding Bars provide proper bonding; essential to create an equipotential plane between service grounds and shack equipment. This equipotential plane provides a near-zero voltage differential and serves to protect people and equipment during transient and electrical-fault events. These ERICO grounding bars have a series of 0.281 in. diameter holes that accommodate mounting many items, including Alpha Delta, PolyPhaser, and other surge-protection devices. They include stand-off mounts that deliver extreme isolation from the mounting surface. When used in tandem with ERICO ground rods and ERICO CADWELD ONE SHOT Wire to Ground Rod Clamps, there is no better grounding system available… period! These ground bars have a 1-1/16 in. standoff of their stainless mounting brackets plus a 1-1/2 in. insulator. This places the inside of the ground bar more than 2-1/2 inches from the mounting surface. There's plenty of room to work after mounting the bar. These bars may be mounted horizontally or vertically and the mounting holes in the copper bar are 8-7/8 in. on center. These grounding bars provide a convenient, reliable grounding location. Their quarter-inch thick solid-copper bar represents the ultimate in ground connections. ERICO grounding bars include insulators, stainless steel brackets, stainless steel mounting bolts, and are UL Listed. For premier grounding at your station, rely on ERICO Copper Grounding Bars from DX Engineering.
sounds like a play on radio 2 lol

Very Nice 😃👍
Where did you get them from good price that de M0ZLK

Wow that is spaghetti junction mate, I don't mean to be negative but if you need so many ferrites you have serious RF issues that needs sorting outside not in. SDR yeah I fancy a sun as well and less clutter on my bench..............Looking forward to it, put the biscuits away when that CSN comes round he will clear ya out LOL.
No RF I'm just OCD
I have been tempted myself with a Sunsdr or something similar but had plans to run it out of sight, so basically a monitor, speakers and mic on the desk, still unsure though. Those cables are something else john. 😂
I know how do they get like that LOL
O-M-G john what a mess lol😁😁
Ha ha I know David just keeps getting worse
Why is it you put those cables in tidy look at them a week later all twisted mess??? Are at the rally on Saturday 15th be there with a possy from Fleetwood n area. See you around looking good de M0JFE 🎉 @@hamradiostationg0dtx583

thanks
Yea Bands not to great just a little dx
yes sir🌍
Been down almost week
Not been on
How are you connecting the 9700 to the pi-star ... cable or just low power through an aerial?
just RF to the hotspot
obviously there is no COMPARISON BETWEEN THE 2 RADIO'S , both are equal in all respects after all it is a personal choice between operators and the abilty to utilise what each radio gives you. over my time on ham radio i have had different radio's but i am a YEASU person, and i never have a go at other hams who use ICOM/KENWOOD/ whaterver its a choice at the end of the day. best 73 to my fellow hams
I didnt see him
Big frank
Bands were dead when i checked on Saturday. Looked out for your antennas last Tuesday and today when passing the area your of QTH heading home didn't spot then 😊 73

John can you tell me the model of the PRESONUS speakers? '73 de Alfredo IZ8DEP
Eris 3.5 hope that helps 73
I wonder if any company will take over their product line. letter says pandemic was quite difficult time for MFJ. I work at radio electronics companies, I had to re-designed, re-layout PC board 4, 5 times for each of the products between 2020 to 2023 so we can continue to make products using available parts. AG6JU
So I guess they are moving?
I have tried and had many radios and I only test them with headphones always with the same headphones and the same antenna with the same sensitivity, Yaesu uses a DNR which no radio has and digital noise reduction, that's why it makes the difference between other radios radios have the patent and no one can put it in the radios, kewood, icom and others, they all have NR non-digital noise reduction, maybe that's why?
I used to live just up the road from Norbreck Castle, in Cleveleys, when I was a student at Fleetwood Nautical College, and visited the rally a couple of times. This was back in the 80’s and I seem to remember it was a lot busier then. The dipoles at dawn incident was entertaining, and just goes to show that those that make the most noise behind the microphone usually end up shaking like a virgin on the verge when confronted in the real World. Thank you for the upload. I spotted a couple of familiar faces, and even one from my Sneaky Beaky Secret Squirrel days when I worked for a certain four letter organisation. 73 de G0NIG.
Hi, thanks for trying, but I think that you might have the wrong technique. I think that you should 1. Set the Main ant gain to minimum. 2.set the aux gain to near maximum, measure the noise-level on the S-meter. 3. Turn down the aux gain. 4. Set the main gain for the same s-meter noise reading as found on aux antenna. 5 Set the aux gain to the setting used just now. This makes the level of the noise, coming from the main and aux antennas, the same. 6. Adjust the phase for the null in the noise. I think that you will find this a lot quicker. Hope that helps! 🙂
Thank you
@@hamradiostationg0dtx583 You're welcome! 🙂
I enjoyed the rally at black pool I hope that I will be there next year 73so Andy m6aia
Andy m6aia me 2 😷
I was close to popping to this Rally but it was like a 6 hour round trip for me, maybe next year as it looked half decent and a potential scrap too whatever that was about. 😂
abusive language on 2m
Ive had a great day there.
Two Metres, eh? It went downhill in the 80's and has never really recovered. The language and attitudes I hear on there these days is a big turn off.
great video again john should had got some kiss me quick hats and rock lol
next year Dave😆
Such a pity that some people need to be reminded about etiquette.
Thanks for posting. looks like the rally is now a shadow of what it used to be. I'm glad i didn't go now.
I haven't been to a rally since leaving the UK nearly 20 years ago, but it looks smaller and less busy than the big 2 day events I remember, still nice to see how it is, enjoyed the video.
So you guys going in the rally before me, rally seems to be a social event now rather then a good radio rally, not been a good radio rally for a least 5 years when the side rooms were full of radio gear, and i saw you guys sat in front of us when my wife took me for a coffee. Roll on Newark radio rally I will cirtainley enjoy that one better, will share your view of Blackpool rally with my friends, it's not worth paying £8 for. I took my wife to cleavly for fish and chip lunch. Your films on utube are really good. If I see you at newark I will introduce my self. 73 Mike M1KEY
Another great day out with the lads :)
Nice to meet up again
Solid rugged fat little radio. I like mine and the fusion sells it for me for the price. Audio is quiet good and sounds as it should. Play with your settings and get the mic gain right and you'll do fine. One and only gotcha with the radio is the battery. It swallows battery whole in a short bit of time. I bought two battery packs from Amazon and work fine but can not find a bigger battery for the FT70 bigger than 2200mAh. Takes a bit to charge. 9/10 for Yaesu. . . have fun 73
Thanks
catch up john when your set up on fusion for a chat
Yes sir
All will be good in next 48hrs... :)
Very nice
Thanks for the upload. You don't need a tweeter when only listening to mid-range narrow band SSB. A quality 3-inch mid-range driver in a well-dampened wooden cab is about as good as it gets. In this instance, less is more.
