Thats how feuds are suppose to work. Don't put down your opponent buy talk up. If you talk them down and beat them who cares. If you lose then you look worse cause you can't beat a guy that sucks

I consider that... well, HEELISH, flashy moves make people pop so many heels will traditionally NOT use the flashy stuff because it gets the crowd excited and cheering. Though I believe it is going away, slowly, because more and more and more fans are just cheering the hard work and effort that these guys and gals put in night after night.
I mean, let's take Moxley as an example. Man is CHEERED like crazy but he came out last week(I think it was last week) and BEAT THE HOLY HELL out of Preston Vance and basically ripped the mask off his face! Those are NOT the actions of a "good guy" those are DEFINITELY the actions of a heel, but people still cheered like crazy because he's Jon FREAKING Moxley and we LOVE it!!!
As a final aside, get well Mox!!! It takes more strength to admit you need help than it does to just ignore the things that bother you!!!

This feud has such a great build-up heading towards Full Gear. This is one of their marquee matches I am looking forward to at the Full Gear PPV.

Although AEW have swerved on that quite a few times over the last couple of years and just gave us good matches with no care about who is a face and who is a heel! They were GLORIOUS matches too!!!

Both of their promo are insanely incredible. Darby reassuring to MJF he'll be focused on beating him and MJF in a rare moment, acknowledging and praising his fellow pillar and rival which doesn't really happen. Even with the insults, MJF knows that his fellow pillars are great wrestler, but just on his level. Can't wait for it to all go down at Full Gear.

That is also a basic aspect of wrestling promos. You say that your opponent is strong so that when you win, it means you are stronger. If MJF just runs Darby down as worthless, too small and unskilled, if he wins, the fans say "so what, you said Darby was worthless, now you want credit for beating him?"

Someone should’ve snapped a picture so they could make it his social media pic. It really describes what a great heel he is without saying a word. He managed to get the entire wrestling audience invested into his act, just look at how literally everyone around him in the crowd was talking shyt to him, flicking him off, insulting him etc. the guy is working the crowd to the next level.
