These should never be compared to a tesla, why compare a car designed in 2010 on a 2018 model 3, this is 1/5 the cost and goes 1/4 the distance , fits the wallet, had mine two years, these are very nippy in the city, exactly what they are designed to do. I repeat these are not a tesla.

@Giaccomo Chiarella mine was 60k miles for 5 thousand dollars. It gets about 75 miles on a full charge.
@Giaccomo Chiarella it's great! Love the car. It's a 2013 model so it is very high tech for the price. It's not my family's only car so if I need to go further I can take a gas car. I never got a 240v charger so i just charge it with a wall outlet at 120v.

@@saesha._ it takes about an hour per 10% with the wall outlet charger. Much faster with public and 240v chargers

only 60 miles range is bad for me...i need something with around 130 miles per charge...do newer ones get better range? what oldest year gets good range...what about upgrading this model with a better battery??? thanks
Yes the newer leafs get 150 miles or more.

I'm sorry but this has to be one of the worst case's of design department gone bad I've ever seen.
Electric cars do need to be cooled. They still have radiators.
2013 Leafs don’t thermal management hence the need for cooling.

How’s the range after so many years... especially in the cold.
My 2017 nissan leaf isn't vary good range maybe 100 miles depending on going up hill or flat road. Up hill takes mare battery that's why you can't get a straight answer on range with EVs. It comes with goid readings on how to save more battery not sure about the older version. When you become a pro though im sure I could squeeze out 110 miles or more
I would have to say that these cars are for short people.. I am only 5'8 and would love this car !! I am a actually looking at one right now.

@@alexflosho Yeah, when he said it was "very eloquent" and it was cool because of “the bulging headlights”, I almost lost my dinner from laughter, LOL!!! I think he turned off a lot of people in the beginning there. I like the Nissan Leaf, but I am also aware that it might be the ugliest car ever made. But I bought one anyway. And yes he was wrong, it is not 80 kWh, it is 24 kWh.
