Thanks for the video. I bought one two months ago based on recommendations. The first time I dived it at a local lake it was very hard to work with I was leaning to one side. I had been diving a jacket BCD and was not used to the wing. I had to redistribute the weight to get it to function better and used it in a pool to get use to it. After this it worked great for me. I have the rip cord version.
I was given a Zeagle Stiletto but unfortunately the dump valve broke. I had months of consideration and hesitation on which BCD to buy. After seeing the Fury in a shop and I thought about buying it and watching your video ended my hesitation and bought it. It is a very nice BCD and I enjoyed diving with it. Only thing is I yet to get used to donut inflator which keeps pushing me forward on the surface.
This new Zeagle is remarkably similar to the Zeagle Xplor BCD that I have had since 2010. The Xplor hasn’t been in production for some time. The main differences are the adjustable shoulder straps and the right shoulder dump. Other than that I can’t see much difference. Also the Xplor has zippers on each wing to add accessories, which this new one doesn’t appear to have.
Bob Please tell me the advantage if the Zeagle manual inflate configuration. You say simple design, what do you mean by that? Thanks for the video. Steve
Steve, When I say simple I'm referring to the large and angular design of the Infl/Deflator. Some inflators/deflators are very sleek, compact with buttons and oral opening built-in vs the industrial look of the Zeagle unit.
Hi, thanks for great review! I have one question: those 2 trim pockets are located on the lower belt, can You move them to the upper one? I am used to dive with one strap BCD's with 1kg trim weight on cam band.
Hello Bob, Are you saying that this is a "one size fits all" since it is adjustable to fit all sizes? The shop carries one size and adjusted to fit customer?
Hello BM ! It's about as close to One-Size-Fits-All as I've seen when it comes to a BCD. There are a few that have alittle adjustment but this one has a fairly wide range of size XS-LRG... Regards Bob C
@@DiversSupplyYT This is very good. Not only helps to control the store's stock size, but also makes it easy for the "growing" diver (young divers) to protect their investment in their BC and to allow for adjustment when changing type of thermal protection thickness. People who gain or lose a lot of weight will benefit too. Very impressive.
@@pat_aus You know Patricia that's a tough call as women are just well, built different from guys. I know a number of female divers that have chosen the Zena by Zeagle and are very happy with those.
@@DiversSupplyYT thanks for the feedback! We ended up buying the Fury and after using it for the first time (here in Western Australia), I can confirm it was a good decision 👍🏻
First Gaston thanks for the note and being a viewer. - I'd have to say that I know that the xxl EXO will fit at least a 48 maybe 49 inch waist. I have measured this myself. - Don't think the Fury will go too that size. Noe let me say both of those BCDs are back inflate units and it just may be a better bet to go with a Back plate & Wing unit that is fully customizable and built to fit you vs an off the shelf product. Just my .02 Regards Bob C
How well do you think would this pitch against your favourite, the new Axiom? That wrapture system is supposed to fit pretty good too ( I'm 5'10¨,145lbs). Also, for a working diver, do you think it would be as durable?
Hello Aditya, The Fury is a very interesting concept for a "fits all" BCD. Going from small to large sure seems to a leap for me. Smaller adjustments like in the ExoTec/Black Ice makes more sense to my mind. I'll have to stick with the Axiom. For a working diver, I'd lean toward the "robust" Black Ice. @@DiversSupplyYT Thank you for your insight bob. I live somewhere with no access to a shop to try on BCs. It’s great to watch your comprehensive reviews. Keep up the good work! Many thanks from the Maldives.
hi just looking for your personals view, in term of durability, performance, and comfort, which one is better, zeagler fury vs aqua lung dimension, aqualung compact pro hd
Hi Hafiz, Well you've got me here because these three picks are different when compared against the terms you asked about. For durability: I'd say it's a tie between the Fury and Dimension. For Performance: I'd go with the Dimension and then Fury. (I'm not a big fan of the handles on the Fury, if you get it go with their Rip-Cord version) For Comfort: It would be the Compact PRO HD, super light travel BCD. Just my .02 Thanks Bob C

Thanks for sharing Mark H. There can be a bit of a learning curve going from jacket to back-inflate... Enjoy ! Bob C
Got one really like it😮
Hey Jerry, It's a beautiful BCD and the way it's so adjustable that's a huge plus. Thanks for the comment. Bob C

That part of diving with a Back Inflate is really the only one of it's drawbacks.

Thanks for your help with the question. I see what you mean and I too like that feature.

Yes, You should be able to move them lower tank strap to the upper.

Do you feel this BCD is equally suitable and comfortable for female divers?

Can you install a crotch strap on the Fury BC without problems?
It does not appear to have the ability to add a crotch strap... Bob C
