wished I had watched this vid before I tried this technique. I cut a stencil out of cardboard, then sprayed the bleach through the stencil. The bleach leaked through and a large area of the red t-shirt I used turned pink. Ugh. I hope to try this technique again with another t-shirt. Would it be better if I used a smaller spray bottle so I have less of a chance to apply too much bleach?

The freezer paper has wax that sticks to the shirt which keeps it in place and prevents leaking.
