I love the fact that Ronnie is finally getting ALL the Fame, Credits, Exposure and ALL the lovely comments and recognition from sportsman and pundits all over the world. This is what he deserves more than anybody. I still think he’s one of the greatest sportsman to ever live. 👏 ❤

I think he has credibility that only comes with having been in a similar boat. England goalkeeper must be one if the loneliest places a football player can be. He’s also a genuine fan so shuts up and listens. It helps that he is a nice bloke too

I went to school with Ronnie and he honestly doesn't seemed to have changed that much - I'm pleased he's done well for himself and pleased he's found some inner peace
Do you think your memory of him was good enough to recall what he was like at school because you kept hearing "Ronnie has done this, Ronnie has done that..." over the years. So you always kept up to date and remembered him? Or do you think you would have remembered him anyway? What I mean is, do you think you'd still remember him well if he hadn't become who he is today, just based on his character? Genuine question.
@@FlipAndLand he was definitely a character you wouldn't forget but he's on the TV all the time so hard to forget! I saw him when I was about 21 and he was already the champion and again he was the same guy hadn't changed much - so it's good to see him finding some sort of peace. Some funny and crazy times at school so no you don't forget!

I started watching snooker at the age of seven and there was one player that captivated me his name Alex Higgins,then came along the whirlwind,and then a this man came along who I believe is a mixture of both those legends fearless, likeable and truly gifted I don't think snooker gets the recognition he deserves at the elite level especially if your a truly fans favourite, Ronnie is a true legend the most 147s the fastest 147 the most century breaks and let's not forget he lost his father for years,Ronnie is a force of nature and without the demons he faced would have double the the titles he has I have nothing but respect for his talent,he's a legend ❤
Started watching snooker because of Hendry and watched Ronnie from there, and from very early on commentators have been calling him the best ever even before the records and I can see why.
I just think back to Semi Final Worlds 2020 during I think Covid and Mark Selby when Ronnie is REALLY up against it trailing and whilst in accendancy of a new frame and break, he's kinda forced to go for a Red that ends up in the Green Pocket and one of which is the Best Ever under the circumstances.
I thought he had done his nut in that match, but after watching a podcast a few months before the world championships that year, he said he would do something like that against Mark Selby if the match was getting away from him.

Love ronnie, legend. Best of all time. But can tell his head causes him issues and overthinking about life and everything. Like me except im not a legend or good at anything. For him to have struggles and still grt where he got, is unbelievable.
You'll have your own talent mate. You'll be the best at something. You just need to find what it is and You'll experience success of your own. Don't put yourself down lad. There's enough wan*ers out there who will try to do that for you.

Ronnie is as good at snooker as the greatest sportsman in history are at their respective sports. Jordan, Woods, Federer, Messi etc. He's on par with all of them. It's just snooker isn't anywhere near as glamorous and doesn't get the attention.

Damien Hirst was auctioning some art at Sotherbys but didn't want to be there, so he and Ronnie went to play snooker and Damien's mate kept phoning him telling him what pieces were selling for.

I was really disappointed by that documentary, he’s so up his own behind, I really wanted him to be more humble, can anyone tell me any different if I watch it all the way tbrough. I turned it off after 10 mins
He was the best but he's losing it, which is inevitable. Still, I wouldn't put it past him to win the World Championships in April.
