Grealish is an absolute top man. It’s so hard not to like the guy with his contagious charisma off the pitch and the way he plays. Also such a role model off the pitch, always finding a way to make sure he is so kind and welcoming to anyone. Top lad.
Always liked jack as a Villa fan, He absolutely earned his move to City. He got us promoted, played a huge part in keeping us up and establishing ourselves back in the PL and for this a lot of us Villa fans will be thankful. Not to mention he seems to be such a down to earth guy which makes him very likable. In the end the move worked out well for both sides. Jack went on to win trophies(Treble included) and Villa have now started to push on fighting for top 4, having got back into European Football. A win-win overall.
Not to mention he secured 100M for you lot, a sum I think everyone can agree is probably more than he's actually worth. The reaction from Villa fans when he moved was a bit over the top.

I think villa fans reacted the way they did because how much it hurt when he left. Especially when we announced the kit before the season started and his quote was "I love playing for this club" just to transfer to City a week later.

You can’t seriously be pleased with his performances this season? He’s scored a couple of easy tap ins and has one assist. He literally never attacks his fullback on the outside and never gets crosses into the box. He’s average at best. You’re letting the fact that you like him as a person cloud your judgement.

Getting 100m of a transfer fee for an academy player, pure profit on FFP... thats let us bring in so many top players with amortized fees. That transfer alone was probably enough for us to bring in Bailey, Ings, Buendia that first season, then Moreno and Duran last Jan, and Pau and Diaby this year. It's probably all used up on FFP now but it let us set such a strong foundation. Sure Ings was always gonna be a bust but the rest have been really strong.
