Like you, I have and use a plethora of different brands...but despite their superior quality, I rarely reach for, or buy, Old Holland anymore. They're too stiff and always need adjusting before using, which is annoying and not the case with brands like Gamblin, Rembrandt or Michael Harding that all have a more uniform buttery consistency across the spectrum. And of all my yellow ochres, Gamblin is the only one I use now.....hard to explain why, though...lol! Your voice is enchanting, I'd be content listening to you read calculus equations ...jus sayin.
