whats the difference between wobbling and what he does at 19:04 ? not to be a hater lmfao i love icies + slug, it jus seems functionally the same as a wobble
they are MUCH harder to execute, not infinite, can only be done on edges of the platform or edges of a perfectly flat stage (think much harder as in the original was pressing one button with a huge timing window every second or so, to having to input like 7-8 inputs a second consistently with a shorter timing window)
doing that doesn't work everywhere on stage, only at ledges as others have said, and it's more technical than just tapping A at 200bpm for half a minute. anyone can learn how to wobble in half an hour
The non Toph Commentator needs to stop trying so hard to be woke by saying 'they/their' when Slug and Kodorin are clearly fine with being called he/him...
The fact that you guys are the only ones commenting on it means nobody else minds so you gotta ask yourself why you do Should try enjoying the good ass meele happening here instead
I don't think he's necessarily trying to be woke, I think he's been retaught by the woke movement that that's how the words should be used. It makes no sense to refer to someone who's gender is known as they, it's just confusing since the pronoun is obvious. Also because it sounds like you may be talking about multiple people.
SluG is so impressive in this matchup, he almost makes it look like it isn't super hard for ICs
He says it's 50-50
Slug is sick, had never seen him play until now
Slug beat iBDW one time. If not it was a 3-2 for Cody. Anyways though the guy is sick
Slug is a monster, so happy to see IC's winning
That last callout down smash was funny and Slug outplayed him so much it makes it look more doable
I just realized that the last wavedash downsmash from slug had its wavedash dust hidden by nana's blizzard and that's sick.
SluG fans rise up!!!
All this happens and dimension still sticking with fox despite being the best marth vs icies in melee history by far is True dedication
Love watching slug ever since wobbling was banned, made the character so sick
Shine is a cheaper move than wobbling.
Slug is the best ICs player of all time. I love modern melee. So much character representation in 2022
Banning wobbling was a sucker move on the part of the community.
intense set
great tenacity from kodorin

You can only do those at the ledge. I think they’re called handoffs. I think they’re harder to execute too, maybe.

@@SnyderChips07 niceee thats whats up. crazy set s/o slug and kodo
additionally, you can't do them infinitely because you need to be able to walk forward for them and you'll run out of stage

Slug beast mode

Yeah, how dare he! Lol you’re a Karen
It's a habit. The one time he uses the wrong pronoun within a community where that's not too uncommon, he'll get cancelled, lol.

@@Shireke01 Unfair to assume it bothers me! But I agree that the Melee is great 👍
