Wow guys thanks for the shout out and featuring Ed lol. Sorry we missed that epic route, that looked amazing. Such a great video you 2 have great editing skills. And an eye for beautiful scenery to capture. Hope to catch up to you soon.
The waves on the rocky shore remind me of Lake Tahoe. Interesting combination of epic fish and cow footage in this episode. Continued kudos to Megan for standing by with the heavy camera to get the shots of Betty’s climbs. She even got injured and then made a yummy dinner!
An interesting observation, I haven’t spent much time near Lake Tahoe. Soon Meg will soon have the biceps to hold the heavy camera, we’ve got her on a strict training regime.🤣
I’m running a G80 locker 33” A/T tires and rancho adjustable shocks with rough country air ride suspension in a 2wD 2012 gmc sierra 6.0 hybrid 1500. I go where I want cautiously. Air down and keep momentum up. Looking forward to more adventures.
I've had my weldtec lift now on my E350 going on 6 years and have enjoyed the fruits of said lift on several trips south to Baja with great results. HOWEVER, sadly, i do not have a locker and i'm pretty sure in the last few minutes of your video, if in my van without doubt i'd be choking, crashing, and burning. Very impressed with your setup! Thanks once again for making me and the old e350 feel inadequate! Ha Ha! You two and the Betty van rock.
Gorgeous place to camp. Subs keep growing. I know, not fast enough, right? But keep making great content and they will come. Thanks for taking us along.
yeah there are a couple of rough spots but as long as no one was coming the other way it was ok. Of course once we got to the coast, we had several locals squeeze past us. One was a 90s stock looking Ford Ranger with 5 dudes in the truck bed :) @@SlowRoamers
Wow that’s impressive 2wd driving. I need to put a locker higher up the list. The little Hoover is adorable. The day I stop travelling so much for work I’m getting one. Baja looked a bit like Little Tribute beach for a second there. Thanks for another awesome video.
😁😁😁 Bahaha, if I’m honest, I was selfishly waiting for this comment. It was certainly rough and tight, but not unlike the forest service roads I’ve been driving in BC most of my life. So, it was kind of familiar territory. Not to mention, we knew we could do it because we had friends in a longer, heavier version of our van go ahead of us a few days before. Thanks for watching!🙌🏻🙌🏻
I don’t think it’s so much a matter of capability as it is size for the the Farther. There are a number of fairly tight corners no wider than the van and the drop offs of significant if something goes wrong. Perhaps pre-run it from Los Barriles in a side by side first.
How dangerous is Mexico? how deep did you get in? Maybe you should talk about that sometime? Great channel look forward to more videos!!! Do you ever do a live question and answer with super chats?🎉
Hey John. Mexico is no more dangerous than where you or I live. Media does a really good job at colouring Mexico in a bad light. We’ve only gone to Baja, but intend to thoroughly explore mainland next winter. We’ve been waiting for a more strategic time to put on a live chat, we’re getting close.
I wish I was affiliated with a compressor company because several ppl have asked this questions already. We’re currently using a Viair single piston compressor, however, I’d like to upgrade to a dual piston for quicker fill up time. Thanks for watching, stoked you’re loving the vids!🙌🏻🙌🏻
I welded a bracket to the B-pillar. I’m planning to do another, more in-depth tour of the van soon for those interested in the smaller innovations in the van.
@@SlowRoamersgot it thanks for the info. I would be very interested in a detailed tour. Love your videos. I am a fellow Chevy van traveler and have learned tons from your videos.
Wow, those last 6 minutes were definitely worth waiting for. Badass Betty the rock-crawler. 😮 Fave section!
Rock crawling wasn’t what we had planned, but we did!
Another awesome video, well, except the cauliflower cameo:)
Bahaha, not a cauliflower guy, eh?🤣 Thanks for watching, we both appreciate it!🙌🏻
Get it Betty.
💪🏼💪🏼
Your photography captures the Baja I have loved. I’ve got a 2005 express 3500 Quigley 4x4 with fuel efficient 6litre
Thanks, I’m so glad you think so. I would love to have an old diesel, gotta love the Chevy diesel engine gurgling sound.🤣
Wow guys thanks for the shout out and featuring Ed lol.

Thanks guys. It was good having you both along for journey! Hopefully our paths cross again.
Beautiful fresh water on a hot day, Betty the Badass making the trail look easy and dance skills! Awesome video of your adventures. Go Betty!!
Thanks Lisa! Glad you enjoyed it!😁
We love that part of the world and seeing places we've been before. Thanks for sharing! Safe travels.
It’s certainly a beautiful place, gets us stoked for what’s ahead. Thanks for watching, Dafyd!🙌🏻

I always end up with sweaty hands after watching what you put your Betty through. Impressed.
lol, same here honestly.🤣🤣

That’s the way, there are loads of places you can access with that setup!🙌🏻

Bahaha, well that was entirely the goal. Glad you’re enjoying the videos though. Thanks so much for watching!🙌🏻
That's hilarious! 😂
Well done video. Thank you for showing us Baja. The time you put into these movies is appreciated. Beautiful, love the music pairing.
Hear hear, totally agree!
Hey, thank you for the kind words and being willing to watch. We really appreciate it. ✌🏼

Thanks as always for watching! We’ll get there, looks like it’s just slowly but surely.😁
Every time I look there are more folks tagging along,
Spot on! 🎉
We did this drive also but going north to south. Definitely a fun route to take a van through!
There had to be a few butt-pucker moments there for sure, eh? Way to get after it in the sprinter!

It’s a great upgrade, we’re really loving the lack of wheel slip. Thanks for watching, Sylvain!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Great video! We love that section of the divide trail. We did it North to South in December.
Nice! It’s a good adventure, I loved it. Even Meg enjoyed it!
Awesomeness!!!
Heck yeah my dude!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I can’t believe you did the section between Los Barriles and La Ventana. We do it in side by sides but a van 😳

Enjoyed this video! Do you think the Farther would be able to do this road? Keep them coming!

Betty is remarkable, but I bet that the ride is smoother walking up or down those big rock covered roads, correct?
Haha, yeah, probably!
That climb starting at 10:19 looks about as steep as the long concrete grade on the Baja Divide 4x4 Trial. Am I right?
It was VERY steep!
LOVE your videos! Could you recommend a good air compressor?

More dancing please
Bahahaha, I’m not gonna promise anything. 🤣
How are you attaching your table mount near the passenger seat?

🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻😁
What size of tires are you running on your van. Seems to be the perfect size
285/75/16’s, they certainly get us up and over things.😁 Thanks for watching!🙌🏻
