It was conditionally given and the title of chosen people was also conditional.
Even for the Muslims to be chosen people is conditional.
As long as you as a tribe or nation stay true to God (agreement) (covenant), you will be granted but when you break the agreement, then the covenant is expires.

I find the oersonality of this imam tawhidi to be very colorful and contradicting. His speeches six or seven years ago were all slander of the prophet Muhammad, and Allah .He exposed the weaknesses, radicalism and defects if the Quran to the hilt. He neither respect nor elevate the prophethood of Mohamed and never mentioned SAW after mention of the prophet's name. Now he's claiming to be a full blooded muslim. Where do you belong imam and who fo you worship now? You could be an apostate or a false muslim, which one?
He is not an imam but a fraud.
But your Qur'an does command you to fight against all unbelievers, unless and until, as you know. Jews and Christians chief amongst those.
Why are you claiming your religion makes no such claims?

All of you seem to want enlightenment. So can all the Imams, Mullahs, Rabbis, Priests sit down and ponder about quantum physics , quatum entanglement, black holes and a myriad other problems facing 21st century world instead of fruitlessly debating about the ownership of a "so-called" holy land!
