I just watched Chloe Chua, who is often described in the same way as Alexandra Dovgan. At 14, Chua is technically brilliant, but to be honest, she doesn't really understand Ysaÿe's Sonata in D minor. What is so almost eerie about Dovgan, is that she at 13 absolutely understands this prelude by Rachmaninoff. That's some intellect from a 13-year-old!
En ocasiones, como sucede con esta señorita prodigio, las manos del intérprete son tan fidedignas como las del propio compositor. Además la actual tecnología ayuda para que podamos estar hablando de esto. Gracias!
Samo prekrasno! Toliko mlada i vec u vrhu!
To je neverjetno, a resnično, saj so Božja izbrana bitja. Hvala!
She will become one of the greats
Already is...
She never fails to be enthralling
Thank God there are still some young artists out there !!!
One of the most brilliant pianists of her generation.
She played this at Verbier, plus some great Bach and Brahms, and that keeps being taken down from UA-cam. That sucks!

You don't always need Rachmaninoff's hands to play like Rachmaninoff.

I'm sure Rachmaninoff would enjoy this performance if he was here.
