TO PEOPLE WITH OILY HAIR: in the wild, how available do you think hot water is? Exactly. Take cold showers and it'll work WONDERS for your body, skin, and hair. Been doing this for a years, and I had soft silky hair and smooth perfect skin since I started. It's hard at first but you get used to it. Best to take these showers after a workout.
I think it's fine to use hot-ish water for shampooing, but then rinse out conditioner with cool water to seal the cuticle. Hair is very heat resistant so water that's hot enough for our skin to tolerate is not nearly enough to really damage hair. Hot water is also good for relaxing the muscles. And hot springs exist in the wild btw. Primates use them to warm up.
and of course this is just my experience, but I use hot water (even to rinse out conditioner, actually) and my hair is very healthy. I do consume a good amount of healthy fats/oils though, like avocado and coconut. I use deep conditioners often too, and don't fully rinse them out. Those are my tips I suppose haha
@@HaruTheGyaru I don't use shampoo, conditioner, nor soap, just cold water and my hair is perfect. Also, if you're an athlete, cold showers is a must to relax your muscles, full body vasoconstriction works wonders. Also, hot springs aren't found all over the world, just in a few parts. Also, primates died out around outward migration of Africa, when fully developed homo homo sapiens came about; the hot springs that were used were by only a few humans, not primates, and none of them exist in Africa. I find it interesting to see people’s hair routine when it comes to styling. Everyone curls their hair a little differently! Great video, super tingly 😄❤️
ASMR Medley maybe try adding more hair per curl ? That’s what I started doing and it cut time in half almost And I actually like the look better looser waves.
NI99A 2000 YT 69 I wish I could add more hair, but somehow it the curl doesn’t take at all when I do that. Idk if it’s the way I’m curling it or if my iron is so old I should replace it haha
ASMR Medley not necessarily. My all-time favourite curl wand is the one I bought eight years ago (I feel old saying that) and it cost about £20/30 maybe? I’ve bought GHD ones since and have all the fanciest flat irons but nothing beats that super old curling iron. My hair is a nightmare to curl though and won’t hold them as it’s so long. The one and only thing I’ve found that helps hair hold a curl is letting the curl cool down while still curly - so absolutely do not let that still warm curl fall, it’ll pull it down while it’s setting. Best thing is to pin it up onto your head with a little crocodile clip, as it stops you holding it until it cools. Plus if you pin them this way you can always do your hair earlier or sooner than you’re going out and just take the pins out last minute. You also want slightly dirtier hair too - fresh hair is super soft. Good luck!!
Molly I tried the pin trick with my hair in a ponytail this afternoon and it worked! Not sure how I’d do it with my hair down but I’m in awe that it worked at all, thank you!
MADS! i just got my curler from L’Ange and it AMAZING in my opinion! they are having a mother’s day sale currently so i got mine for only $30-40! normally they are around $100-150! i definitely recommend it!

Hi love! I had exams this past week so I was legit stressed all the time and also didn't have a lot of time to watch asmr - which made me even more stressed lol, so now after a week that I'm back I've seen your channel grew so much! It makes me so happy! :) If anyone deserves more recognition is definitely you! Honestly, you've one of my faves here on UA-cam and you always help, and I hope you know how much! Love you lots!!! ♡ (I also agree so much with what you said about fashion & keeping this planet as clean as we possibly can!)
My great grandmother died not that long ago I wasn't able to go to the funeral because of school and the funeral was in Mexico😕😕 but thanks for thsse videos I'm really thankful for all the time and love you put in these videos you help me sleep better and relax more❤
I guess having naturally oily hair helps, I have a naturally wavy/curly hair and its more of a dryer hair type and I've have tried so many things but I think a lot of it is genetics. I find conditioning masks and using hair oils help a lot for me.
I would not recommend trimming your hair every 6-8 weeks, if you have slower growing hair like me. I keep my dry ends well moisturized with a mask before washing(every 2-3 days), a hair oil at night, and a leave in conditioner when styling in the morning. My previously dead ended, brittle hair can now go a year between trims and even then have minimal length lost. I find that constant trimmings would just chop off any length I gained. I am currently past waist length and my hair is in great shape without a trim in probably 11 months.
@@emilybeagles4561 I agree, 6-8 weeks is far too much if you want to grow it. I trim mine about 3 times a year and that works for me, but everyone's hair is different. As long as you look after it as best you can, you'll be able to tell when it needs a trim.
Is it just me or is her intro like cutting off? Sometimes her videos begin with “...loves, hi loves” and now this one was “Madi, Madi...” I’m not hating by the way, just pointing out

Ok but when you are trying to grow your hair should you stop cutting them? Because I feel like mine don’t grow fast enough for how much my hair dresser cut each time..
@@emmamichaut6429 don't cut it so often! I cut mine every 6 month or even once a year! Like, once/year is a must, but I usually cut it two times/year. I never let them cut my hair more than 2cm. (otherwise it gets too oily)
Mine grow so fast and I eat more vitamins than before so I don't know if vitamins help? Lol I'm not sure haha. I use garnier hair food and it's so good
I know you don’t wanna brush it on your not-wash days but it will help distribute the oils. Doing that makes it easier to get where you wanna be with wash days. I shampoo once a week! Your hair is just trying to overcompensate for the ends so it produces more oil.
Hey could you possibly do some wet hairstyling? Just messing with a few simple hairstyles an whispered instruction as to how you do them? Doesn't need to be anything complicated.
Have you ever tried co-washing? If you don’t wanna wash it often but want that clean feeling try a co wash it cleanses and hydrates but isn’t as harsh as shampoo so it won’t strip your hair. You can get them at a beauty supply store.
Girl I LOVE thrifting. I’m OBSESSING over different types of looks right now, but probably next month I’ll be more so over it, so why should I buy something new if I’ll go out of it?
