“Fade to Black” got good and bad response. When the censorship thing started, that was one of the songs they tried to attack. These parents finding their kids dead in the garage with these lyrics, sucking on an exhaust pipe. People tried to sue bands for their mistakes. But we got tons and tons of letters-we still do-that say, “Fade to Black saved my life.” But no one wants to read that. It’s too nice, too boring.

Also I'm pretty sure they said they wrote this song to create consciousness about suicide prevention.
The parents are ridiculous, there is the inbetween people like me who survived their attempts and this song helps one move forward in life but also their parents should have paid attention towards their children if they really cared cause they have responsibilities too

Especially the guitarwork is really highlighted at this tempo and frequency which why I as a guitar player really appreciate these Doomer Wave videos on rock/metal songs for more than just the vibe they give off. I have to say something, I dont know what you're doing to the songs but, from the beginning to the end of the song, I feel something that I cant even describe. Its like "what is going on?" ıt sounds like little bit doom, maybe stoner metal. but not the same. I am a huge metal and rock music fan. I know something about the genres. I trust my knowledge and I have to say, I guess you have created something maybe a new born genre. I've never heard before that kind of sounding music. The way that you edit the songs, I've never heard something like that. Keep working. I feel very impressed and amazed for your works.
