They’re genuinely passionate about what they’re doing, more than everyone else and they keep coming with new ideas (coco diss track, heist with markiplier 2 etc). And even when it’s “just everyday content”, it’s still funny, enjoyable and relatable. There will always be people with a negative view but most days Felix’s and Mark’s videos are what keeps me going.

I believe the issue with not drinking, is that there are less social environments for non drinkers. Drinking socially just means that you find yourself out and talking and meeting people more often, bars, pubs, karaoke, whatever, and then you're also more socially pliable. It's about finding those environments to meet new people. You gotta make a bit more effort when you're not a drinker. Get into rec sports, or book clubs, find a D&D group or community theater, etc. Its not about the drinking, its about lack of gatherings and opportunities for non drinkers.

Just because a book is for children and is very simple in is nature doesn't make it any less impact full to the right person. Also, it may be that it has less to do with the book itself and more to do with the circumstances someone is facing in their lives that makes a book so life changing for them. A children's book about every life being precious can be the reason an adult changes their mind about suicide, a young adult fiction can be the reason a kid starts writing or learns they're interested in any career path, there's a ton of things that could be "life changing" about a book besides them just making you think about philosophy or the human condition or whatever arbitrary line someone is trying to use.

It is difficult to get your head around mental illnesses when one doesnt have it themself, but id reccomend checking what they say about it if you want to try and better understand. Im sure a good chunk of ppl who struggle socially are like that because of that, neurodivergency, or traumas. (bullying, in family, etc)

It is difficult to get your head around mental illnesses when one doesnt have it themself, but id reccomend checking what they say about it if you want to try and better understand. Im sure a good chunk of ppl who struggle socially are like that because of that, neurodivergency, or traumas. (bullying, in family, etc)

Harry Potter, unironically. It was the first time I'd ever read a novel (after a few friends insisted that I at least tried), and it eventually led to me reading several other series and standalone novels. It kickstarted a good habit that I didn't have before and I'm grateful for that :')
The question about drinking to make friends is more about going out to bars,partys and things like that, like, if I don't like dancing, I can pretend I'm drinking and talk a little to meet people
I don't get nervous doing speeches and stuff bc I always just thought I was excited for it. Apparently anxiety and excitement are really similar feelings, so if you tell yourself you're excited rather than nervous, your brain usually believes you PFFT
