She was still one of three or more English speaking women who worked on Zero hour, which she worked on from 1943 until August 1945. Though she was stuck in Japan from December 1941 and was framed as a scape goat in the untied states and in jail from September 29th 1949 until January 28th 1956 for 6years or more than six years. she was not pardoned until 1977 which restored her citizenship after 23 years.
He was a complicated individual. I wonder whether there would have been any need for war between Japan and the west if Ishiwara had gotten the war with Japan and China to end in 1937. We will never know.

This was a fascinating series, I really like General Ishiwara, all his contradictions make him interesting to me.

The guy was the definition of evil. You would be mistaken if you think he was any different from the rest of the Japanese leadership.
