I still liked lacy when he was healthy as my fav packer RB thats me though i know well ever agree with me and thats fine i liked Jones a lot too than probably green n levens was straight exc
@lamrxch He was a great back and I loved him. The greatest? No. In a time before we followed, Jim Taylor and Paul Hornung still remain the examples in the hall of fame. Times were different and so was the sport.
Ahman was our best running back ever, during the best era of running backs ever, with other guys like Marshall Faulk, Sean Alexander, Priest Holmes. Nobody was necessarily ever a better runner with a football than a healthy Ahman Green. So fast and powerful.
❤ loved watching Ahman play as a Packer, brought my son to a home game vs. Detroit, and Ahman scored a long touchdown run on like the second play of the game...and the party never stopped all game !!!🎉
Ahman Greennnnnnn 😮😮😮😮😮😁😁😁😁😁no there's my favorite running back!!! Man you will never be forgotten in Green Bay my boy!!!! Packer for life!!!! Thank you so much for your leadership, playing style and your humility! Still looks like you can play. Come backup Jacobs and get this ring!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was very surprised AJ didn't go to the Texans considering his roots in Texas. The moment his cut was announced I imagined him being like Green by going to them, then coming back to finish his career in GB. Though it won't pan out that way, having gone to the Vikings, I still hope he returns to the Green and Gold before the end. Green, I absolutely adore you and appreciate everything you did for the G&G. I was happy you got your money though it meant leaving us for a short while. Thank you!
I felt like Green played longer than he did in green bay, turns out he actually just packed a bunch of really memorable plays in a short time. Great packer.
Jones being released hurts mostly because of the person he is, but look at what the Vikings gave him. LESS than half of his cap hit for the Packers. Tells you all you need to know about his market value. Gute made the right call. As he usually does!
Yeah jones played 6 games this past season. Ppl forget just how injured he was due to the way he finished the yr. But we made the right call. And now after all the details came out Gute was almost dead on with jones worth. The vikings just over paid to get him out of spite to face the packers and jones signed with them out of spite too. He will regret it, just like every other player who has spent most of their career here only to leave green bay to go elsewhere, they never have a better career outside of green bay.
Ahman Green, if by chance you catch this question I would appreciate a comment. First always was a big fan of yours and thank you for your service to the Packers and continued best wishes to your future. Now to the question! Jacobs okay great addition...but the pundits all have been saying that the Packers will probably draft another running back and I believe that to be true! But what I feel is lost in all of this is Emanuel Wilson a 4.5-4.65 in the 40 this back has power and speed once out into space. He demonstrated that once last preseason with an 80 yard run for a touchdown! Don't you think Emanuel with now better knowledge of the offense and line play that he just might be a threat as well. Emanuel once learning to keep his head down more I believe will be threat much like Derrick Henry! Do you think people are overlooking this fella's talents in all of this! I am just feeling that he just might given the chance explode on the scene as well!
@@martingriffiniii8154 Do you mean to insert Aaron Jones name rather than Dillons? I am willing to bet you realize Dillon Has been signed. Now in proper context of your reply! I totally agree with you and Green or not I thank you for your reply! GO PACK GO!
I hate it that jones left but I believe in Gute. Ppl forget jones only played a total of 11 games....11 damn games last yr. Sure he finished with a bang but if jones wasn't hurt all yr we wouldn't have had to go thru the gauntlet we did in the playoffs and prob would have won the division. So adding jacobs and Xavier....we are for sure gonna be right there to win the division.
im a packer fan and have been since 92. love all the running backs but I liked Dorsey Levens better than the others. Not because he held the records but because when the lights were bright and the game was on the line Dorsey was a horse and if he wasn't running you over carrying the rock. he was hurting you with the screens in the receiving game. nothing stopped that kid
GopackGo! Seen this comimg ! Everyone forgot gute tried trading for jacobs and johnathan taylor the past 2yrs but couldnt workout a deal 😂 thanks 33 you will be missed but you are now the enemy!😂jones did miss a few games here and there tho plus his age ... jacobs needs to stay healthy and be consistent ! No lie tho his talent will make this offense better and hard to stop 🔥🤫goodluck tackling the dude he is fast amd physical breakout speed
It’s a great move, he’s younger and healthier, plus we got McKinney. Dude wanted that extra sliver of his net worth that is more than most families will see in 10 generations and that was enough to go to a rival over so he can sit with that purple crap on his chest while we win a ring
I'm on was the man once again pathetic coaching and drafting didn't get them a Super Bowl but there's no comparison a fifth round running back from El Paso or a stud from Alabama that's three and a half years younger move on people
I hate it that jones left but I believe in Gute. Ppl forget jones only played a total of 11 games....11 damn games last yr. @@packers12to80 If I've learned anything from being a longtime Packer fan, it's that most of us are capable of lamenting the loss of a player, wishing him well, and remaining true to the Green and Gold. Jones made a pretty big statement of his value down the stretch, no harm in acknowledging that. It just sucks we must root against him now. Hopefully he gets to retire a Packer and look forward to the GB hof one day soon.
I here because of ahman green.
Me too I had his college jersey as a kid after he was a Packers. Probably my favorite Packers RB
Same.. I loved watching him play
Best Packers RB besides Jones n Levens home run hitter 70 80 90 yd runs if Aaron Jones kept running against SF in Lambeau he would still be here 😂😂😂
Absolutely lol
He was so fun to watch..
Ahman Green! Greatest back in GB history. A power back with speed, rare combo

Great back on a good team. Jim Taylor is my #1 cuz I’m an old timer. Great back on a dynasty team.

Best top end speed during his time.

So many awesome memories watching Green as a kid. He's a beast

Hes salty and wants to get revenge against the Packers.
Ahman was such a man outstanding guy and our best RB. His running was nothing short of amazing.
Its Batman!
Man this was a surprise treat, my favorite Packers running back and 3rd all time favorite…Ahman Green!!
Here for Ahman!! 💚💛💚💛💚💛
Ahman Green is my favorite Green Bay Packers running back of all time!
I felt like Green played longer than he did in green bay, turns out he actually just packed a bunch of really memorable plays in a short time. Great packer.
AhMONSTA Green , brings me back to my childhood
Ahman Green! Other than Favre he was my favorite player when I was a kid. I pretended to be Ahman when playing football at the park with friends.
When I see Ahman Green's name in 2024. Instantly clicking 😂
Now..this dude is the greatest packers rb.
Good seeing u ahman
Green was a beast
So cool to see former packers care about the team, lots of retired players who still rep the G, love it
Ahman “ah monster” Green #30 this guy was 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨 the best
Most underrated RB of his time.

I’m obviously not Mr Green, but I think the fact that Dillon is not coming back is largely due to the confidence the team has in Wilson.

@artis1969 yeah that's my bad. Thanks for replying and correcting me on that big mix up.
