@@SouthernSeminary, the minute I saw this video I thought it looked like Walnut Street Bapt, even 28 years after graduation from SBTS. It is the prettiest sanctuary in Louisville, and such great acoustics! Thanks for a beautiful time of worship!
I just played this over a good sound system and all that needs to be said is that this track is a home run. I got shivers down my spine in the best possible way.
We serve a merciful God whose love is so awesome He gave His one and only beautiful Son to save sinners like us all. We don't deserve it but He still offer it to us. Oh Lord thank You for Your grace & mercy.
What fear can overtake my vision What doubt can overcome my faith What strife can silence all my singing Lord, your wounds have paid my ransom What thief can steal my hearts possession What power can overwhelm my soul What shame can silence my confession Lord, Your wounds have paid my ransom And what unspeakable mercy Has emptied heaven’s reserve And what Redeemer so worthy Has covered sin with such love And what unsearchable riches Far beyond human words Lord, Your wounds What lie can sever what is certain What storm can wash away my hope What threat of death can take my freedom Lord, Your wounds have paid my ransom And what unspeakable mercy Has emptied heaven’s reserve And what Redeemer so worthy Has covered sin with such love And what unsearchable riches Far beyond human words Lord, Your wounds
Thank you so much for this...it was played at the end of our church service in North Wales this week following the preaching of God's Word and was a real blessing to us. All glory to God!
Very pretty everything in the music’s been bothering me things have been so horrible noisy hurt my head I don’t believe a lot of them are pleasing to the Lord either I’m not sure but very beautiful
I don’t like the line “Jesus paid it all; all to him I owe,” because it feels like it comes off as a begrudged obligation, rather than the joyful surrender that it should be.
Patrick Hodson A heart that has been brought from death to life in response to what Jesus has done for us is overflowing with joyful surrender. I take that line to mean more along the lines of, "He has given me life, therefore I live it for His glory." It's not that I owe Him my life in the sense of paying Him back or that He's holding His work on Calvary over my head guilting me into obedience, but rather I want to obey as a result of my salvation. Therefore, I joyfully sing that Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe.
Beautiful church as well - where is this filmed/what is the church?
+Redeemed Fully Thanks for the compliments! It was filmed on location at Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky.
