West Coast Choir singing "Is He Worthy" LIVE at a recording session in the Main Auditorium at Lancaster Baptist Church.
The past few years our music department has been able to produce a major video release. Because of Covid 19, we were not able to do a major release, but we hope this presentation of the live recording of “Is He Worthy” will be a blessing to you.

My life is drawing towards the end & one of the things I regret is that I didn’t use my musical abilities for Jesus. I hope each person in this choir & anyone else who might accept this challenge, don’t do as I & others have done, use every opportunity u have to give God glory with your voice. Don’t draw near the end & have regrets, it’s really not worth it. Hold close what u have, it is precious.
the good news is you'll have eternity to make it up! There are no regrets with God.... He sees our glorious future. Hallelujah! use whatever you have now to praise Him...even if no one else hears...he does.

Wow. This is powerful. When they got to the part of the song "Every people and tribe, every nation and tongue" I fell to my knees in awe. And when they got to the chorus "HE IS!!" I stood up and lifted my fingers up towards heaven and shook them. Yes, HE IS worthy of blessing and honor and glory. And, wow, that lead singer is amazing! What a voice! Heck, the entire chorale is amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

50 years ago when I got saved as a teenager the Jesus Movement had swept it's way to the Southeast of the US and it wasn't so hard to be a Christian youth. In times like these every Christian youth faces temptations even my parents couldn't have imagined. But the upside is that any Christian, and youth especially, that truly live for Christ shine bright like diamonds in a very dark world

So timely. “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” Revelation 5:2 John, the beloved apostle, wept because he feared God's judgment would never come and the world would continue its descent into darkness forever. Worship music like this gives us those moments of deep experience where we realize that there is a reality that is above all our clever thoughts and that is much greater than our language. I have studied a lot of philosophy, and often critical thoughts against the Word of God rise up in one. Some things do not seem logical, not consistent in the Bible and in Christianity, and one is tempted by one's own pride to judge them. Before anyone mentions it, the people with the phones out we’re doing what the production team asked. The phone cameras were going to be edited in with the other camera angles but we decided against it once editing. :)

Watching these/you precious young people blesses my heart so much, yet there is still a heaviness. My own grown children have all gone astray. I blame myself. Two of them don't even know if I'm alive. I thank God that my oldest son at least gives me a little time. Blessing, and Honour, and Glory, and Power, be unto Him that sitteth upon The Throne, and unto The Lamb for ever and ever.

The pure joy on their faces wants me to know God like they are knowing Him.

Hey, Aidan! My name’s Danielle and I’m currently a Junior at WCBC studying Music Education. It’s so exciting to hear that you’re considering coming here for your post-secondary education! I personally love the attention to the student and staff relationships that we have here at West Coast. Hey Aiden! I’m a junior studying pastoral theology, but was a part of the choir, and am currently traveling on tour for the college. The faculty members are what makes the difference for me. They are the most encouraging people I know, and have years of past ministry experience to help answer questions that I have about ministry. If you want to not only sharpen and develop your music talents for the lord, but also get hands on experience utilizing those skills in ministry, you should definitely consider west coast!
Hi Aiden! My name is Jarod and I'm a junior studying church music there at WCBC. The college has an awesome music program with plenty of opportunities music-wise for the music students just like in the choir here! As a pianist, you'll be taught by quality instructors through private lessons who will help challenge and build your musical skills. There is even opportunity to teach piano to younger students through a music academy there on campus. Will be praying for you as you consider West Coast!

LOVE THIS GROUP IN ANY YEAR THEY'VE PERFORMED. These young artists certainly know how to sing with studio savvy. PERFECTION ALL THE WAY.
