Can you recommend a external pir sensor without the lights, that actually works?
How did you check whether it was a ring and not radial?
Consumer unit. You can tell if there is 2 sets of line and neutrals coming out/in the rcd

I do indeed but all the sockets in that room are to be changed once decorated for brushed chrome 👍

I know absolutely 0 about any of this so please forgive my ignorance, but isnt the angle for the cable supposed to be sloping inside to out? I thought the angle was so that any moisture accumulating on the cable cannot run down the cable into the inner wall, so with it being sloping outside to inside, wouldnt that be like a convenient slide for the water to run down? That or i missed something in the video (writing this halfway through!)
Good point and something to consider, however he silicone seals the hole to prevent water coming in.
Use stainless steel screws
Only 3.44 minutes is, clearly the room needs decorating as there is a massive blue line down the wall. Surely you would use a multi tool, fit oval Capping inside the chase and punch out at the desired location so no visible conduit is at eye level outside.
The time it took you measure levels, fish the cable out via the geeko holesaw the holes out for the route where the dab was. Wouldn’t been so much faster doing a chase, filling it back in and without all the faff of fishing cables. As the fact the walls need decorating already.
