Even though the Etrian Odyssey costumes "fit the most" something about samurai costumes makes it my favorite. Also its crazy how good the samurai garbs look on 3D. Maybe in 10 years the smt 4 remake will happen.
I can think of two reasons. It's most likely bc the P3 Reload outfits are specifically tailored for a specific character and Atlus probably didn't want to go through the hassle of modelling each one to fit every character so they just gave them the SEES Gekkoukan outfits. Or this game was in development at the same time Reload was and they didn't have the models for those outfits yet
@@kauanjos3199 don't get me wrong, I like the new songs the new singer did for P3 Reload, but I feel her performance to the old songs, especially compared to Yumi Kawamura, is kind of a high bar to get over. So I greatly appreciate Atlus using Yumi's version here. There are some songs that I feel were an improvement. I like the added lyrics in Changing Seasons for example. I thought the song was better as an instrumental but it's refreshing to hear a voice accompanying it.

People talking about the game using original "mass destruction", but if it was based on Reload, they would have used "It's going down now" since that's the main battle theme of that game, so you would never see Reload Mass Destruction regardless

Etrian Odyssey outfits were what I was looking forward to. It's funny how they used the battle theme of the 3DS remake of the original EO instead Nexus because it didnt have class like Gladiator or Hero
The Etrian Odyssey costumes with Initial Strike as the BGM is all I could have asked for, and it's a little sad that it's overshadowed by all the Persona.

The compositions are weak and the opera chanting, while novel, doesn't sound nice to listen to outside of the game. Go play Ys X if you wanna see a 2024 game with a great soundtrack. Also, I think Meguro is one of the best composers of all time, so I have no negative bias here.

i noticed the persona 1-5 and SMT IV costumes for everyone is almost similar while SMTV uniforms has more variety (Save for man going shirtless in P1 costume) though Etrian Odyssey's DLC feels more pleasing to buy coz of all that variety... A lot of these Victory BGM themes fits so nicely though
For the mini boss/bosses... The smt4 outfit should have just blasted B2... I'm disappointed how all these outfits do is give you the base battle theme... Thats it

Definitely play Etrian Odyssey! It's a masterpiece series and we'll probably see Etrian Odyssey VI soon so it's a good time to get into the franchise. Also, let's just say you should beat Etrian Odyssey 1 before playing Metaphor.

I would have ❤ed to actually buy some new clothes for my group in actually clothes shops from the 3 Big cities & 'The Village'. Imagine, each place could’ve had different stiles available for purchase according to their traditions & culture.

When you get battle advantage (most of the time, enter after stunning) it plays the outfit song. Normal battles is normal game song. Post battle theme is always the outfit song. I can’t tell but it may be down to what the MC is wearing so you could have the party wear outfits and keep MC in default if you want default music

I’m glad they gave us costumes and battle music but I wish you could toggle them independently.
This game seems to be built on P5’s engine, which sadly had the same issue.
