I was so excited when I discovered extra long measuring tapes. Totally understand it being a favorite tool.

That was fun! 🥰 I totally get that use for the awl! haha I've always kept two seam rippers to hand...... one scalpel type and one really dull regular one. The dull one is SO useful for using as a stylus, picking out basting without snagging the fabric, and pulling out a sharper point on a collar or waistband! 😁 that said, I did just stab my finger with it yesterday. White denim 😜

My favorite tool is my snips. I sewed a ribbon on and I wear them as I sew.

Two bobbins at a time...I'm always struggling with wide elastic, this is life changing!!! Thank you so much for sharing, I hope you make more content like this!!!

My most used tool is my seam ripper. I repurpose a lot of clothes and its invaluable for removing all the threads. I will be adding a bodkin to my tool kit, it looks very practical. I also weight my fabric down with old perfume bottles and glass jars holding candles.

I think the only reason a seam ripper wasn't included is because it's almost as obvious a tool as a sewing machine!

Hi there anyone any idea where I can find the fusible knit stay tape in the UK, please? Good idea to use a double bodkin - never thought of that - clever!

You could try Amazon, but many fabric stores should have it!

I would like the source for your Dritz marking pen. Thanks!

I’ve been looking for large format wax paper for ages and haven’t found it. Any Canadian resources?

We've had ours for a long long time. Judith recomends this one but I don't think it's Canadian: susankhalje.com/products/waxed-tracing-paper
