Briarwood is def one of my favorite inspo’s for my save file along with others. I have my current save file ‘Mirage County’, which is a overpopulated, grody area with some very ‘interesting’ people. The whole premise of the save is that Mirage is painted as this perfect place to make a name for yourself, but in reality it isnt (Much similar to the meaning behind the work Mirage). I use a few worlds like Oasis Springs (My absolute favorite), Del sol Valley (Close second), San myshuno, Evergreen , and Magnolia Promanade to build in. Mirage county is a very dramatic and eventful save so far from what i’ve been playing with. Every sim has a story that connects to others in one way shape or form, for example: Toni, a woman who lives in the apartments in del sol valley area, had bought out an old cafe her grandma used to run, despite the proper was given to her mother Ruby, a resident all the way in Oasis Springs who had abandoned the cafe in the first place. Now she has to juggle keeping the cafe business open by trying to appeal to the demographic of young sims in Del sol, and her personal life. Andre, who lives in the same building as Toni, had graduated from college and was recently laid off from his position as staff in a diner bc the company had gone bankrupt. He didn’t mind this too much since he to pursue a career in interior design, but every company he applies for doesn’t contact him back. This is when Toni asks for help in refurbishing the cafe. Now they both benefit from this partnership by helping Toni redesign this cafe and inherit her Grandma’s business, and Andre to have a temporary job and gain some work experience for his future career. Theres a lot more story elements and connections that I left out to add to the drama! but its one of my favorites to play with. Mirage rlly gives me the opportunity to get creative with writing sims stories and such lol

If you want mountains there's CC backdrops you can download by floralsims. Im currently making a mountain town Savefile. I will probably have a video up on my channel tomorrow.
If you wanna use TOOL in live mode to decorate, place the objects, go into live mode and shift click the object, u should get a TOOL option, under that press toggle active object and then click/alt click wherever you want around the world. Also if u have decor ur tryna cover up like the old willow creek buildings, zooming into the objects in live mode they’ll disappear and u can click the floor underneath to Center them/fully cover. This is what works for me! You inspired me to do something similar to my willow creek (suburbia is boring) and I love your videos! ❤

I've been watching quite a few videos on save files and their lores that I'm actually considering starting a save in Oasis Springs based on like the run down dingy areas of Anerican desert living. So basically very lana del rey's 'ride' aesthetic if that makes sense. I also want to incorporate las vegas with the nightlife into that save. My game is quite glitchy so building is the only thing I'm enjoying at the moment😅
OHH also i forgot to mention, theres a mod called "unlocked apartments" and you can bring the san myshuno apartments to other worlds!! you should check it out
Suggestion: perhaps with tool made you should place those functional food venders out? :) if you haven’t thought about it yet Another one 29:04 at this time stamp you could add benches ?
@@Piixxa Cepzid creations they got so much cool things But for parks “Slide into your mods” by Ravasheen and a recolour “Pietro Toys Inc” by littledica (but just look up sims 4 littledica slide). “Spring rider playground” By Cepxid A suggestion from island living with the sand terrain you can make your own sandbox for kids and toddlers, but there’s also sandboxes made by many different creators. :D
Your video was super inspiring and I enjoyed the long format. Just a quick question is there a certain reason you place the background buildings while in build mode rather than live. I would think that would be easier to place items but I was wondering if I’m missing something.
hi! placing with tool is harder for me in live mode. In build I can just alt click, in live mode the menu (on the top left corner) doesn’t come up when I shift+t in live mode. I’m prettyyy sure this is the case anyway. Hopefully this makes sense! Thank you for watching I’m glad you enjoyed 😊

And if you shift click the floor in general you get the options menu and settings menu. You placing buildings on the horizon from the lot looks a little difficult so just wanted to let you know in case you didn’t already.

I love this so much, I’ve started a save file, it’s 90s/early 2000s based and it’s been so fun. I genuinely have enjoyed building more than actually playing the game so far (the glitches have become overwhelming) I’m new to your channel so excuse me if you’ve already answered this but do you plan on sharing your save file? my save is psudeo 2000's lol, I cant commit fully. I agree, the game has been causing me strife but I power through. 😆I do plan on sharing it although I'm not sure when. Thank you though! I'm very happy that you are enjoying.
