Thats not whats right. Its not about whats right, thats not a solid universal thing. Its not so dramatic, its a simple matter of opinion. If ur confident in ur self you dont need to try dictating morality over everyone. Some people dont like it, some people do, neither are morally superior. Idk why everyones trying to proclaim moral supremacy lately, morality isnt law.

@@doesntmatter4477 I couldn’t disagree more. If your confident enough it means you absolutely will stand up for people 1 who aren’t there and 2 people who can’t defend themselves. You can tell Shane was then taken out of his crusade. But Shane has to know how NYC guys act. They have to keep the facade up bc if what everyone has ever said about them is true they would implode. So instead they double/triple down. That's when Shane understood and had to back down. Andrew Schulz is just someone you want to avoid. They are very enticing but they will remind you instantly why they actually just suck.

He's made jokes about homophobia, racism, school shootings, pedophilia, and probably other offensive topics, yet he gets offended at a joke because it effected him on a personal level, and the joke wasnt even that bad. Shane is the same guy who said he rooted for the pedophiles on To Catch a Predator. Shane is being a hypocrite and has no room to be upset at the jokes made on the podcast unless he decides to stop making offensive jokes as well, which he never will. So he can either take it on the chin like everyone else or pursue a different career because comedy is not the place to get offended, especially when diabled jokes are as common as they are.

The down syndrome "joke" is a reminder that people aren't always joking when they tell jokes. Shout out to the guy with long hair for catching how Shane didn't think it was funny. That's what happens when you don't tailor things to the other person's humor. Then Andrew had the nerve to say Shane was "being a victim" when called out for HIS poor read.

Yep. Shane uses those jokes to bolster the community and connection to the Downs peoples. Schulz used it to belittle and bully them. Shane has been around the Downs community for all his life therefore he gets the right to comment - especially has he frames it in a positive light. Schulz doesn't really have the right.

I still find it stunning how rapidly Shane outgrew all of the biggest stars, two years ago he needed them, now even Joe Rogan needs him for being validated as a comedian. Shane is speedrunning the respectability game.

Another thing I really like and respect about Shane is that he's always trying to shout out the homie Matt McCusker. A lot of times, when Shane is on a podcast, he'll say, "You should definitely have Matt on," and he talks about how good Matt is on podcasts. He's said a bunch of times there's no way he could do his podcast without Matt. That's a good friend right there.

Nah I think you are 100% spot on with the Down syndrome stuff. Shane thinks it’s hilarious that people look down on them and sees the beauty in the way they look the world. These dudes were just laughing at specific people and looking down on them. I think he was torn since them making fun of him for looking a little Down-ish is totally fine with him.

You can see Shane's humanity here, especially since he has family with Down's Syndrome. I used to be just like that, punching down with edgy jokes for the sake of it, and the lower I punched down, the funnier I thought I was. Glad to see that there are some genuinely funny comedians that don't see it that way.
