How are you bonding the epoxy on? I find the epoxy just sits on the surface of plastic. I work with epoxy a lot. I’m not understanding how your getting it to adhere to plastic. Also, if I put too much of anything including pigment it will disturb the structure of the epoxy. Is that cup flexible at all in the slightest ? How does it not crack the epoxy? Do you put these in the dishwasher? Hot water?? these?
Hi @lilyrisecraftroom! I am sorry for this question, maybe you have had answer it before! The Starbucks cups or logos, do you get them with the logo already? Or do you buy or make the logo? Where can I get the logo separately please! Thank you
No, you put ( chunky). glitter , glycerine and water in between the two walls thru a hole in the bottom. Makes a snow globe. VYour right about plastic w/ epoxy. Hope this helps answer your question.
Do you happen to have any suggestions on how to “fix” a fish eye or bald spots on a cup? Of course, when making this one I had a couple bare areas and nothing stuck to the Starbucks logo at all. I did use the same measurements you recommended for the epoxy.
I have a bunch of color change cups that no longer work 😞 I wanna try something like this, to make them pop again. Any advice on how to keep the paint vibrant and keep them from not working anymore? Does light damage the paint?
Thank you so much for this tutorial. When you were mixing both colors I was thinking to myself how brave you are. I would be afraid it would set, but seriously thank you for the tutorial.
Thank you so much. I was looking at your ombré glitter cup tutorial and noticed that for this one you don’t do the part where you sand the first epoxy layer. Are you no longer doing that step? I’m new to cup making with epoxy and would love your input. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for sharing and being so helpful with everything. I am new to crafty and epoxy. I’m sorry to ask you this silly question. In between epoxy layers do we leave the cup spinning in tuner for the 24 hours? 🤭 I try a cup but I think epoxy it’s pealing off the cup. I don’t really know what I did wrong.
Thank you so much for the video very helpful. Question- can I apply a vinyl sticker after the glitter is set or do I apply another layer of epoxy wait 4-6 hours and then apply sticker?

Thanks so much for sharing 😍 the cup looks amazing! I have a question something that happens to me often and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong do you ever get the epoxy lifting from the top rim? Every time I seal the cup with epoxy and once it’s fully dry I try the lid on the cup I get like an air bubble or it lifts idk what I’m doing wrong or if I’m putting to much epoxy on the top..I hope I make sense 😭😩
Love Solar color dust! The shop it’s actually right down the street from my house. Wolf is a super cool dude.

Hi @lilyrisecraftroom! I am sorry for this question, maybe you have had answer it before! The Starbucks cups or logos, do you get them with the logo already? Or do you buy or make the logo? Where can I get the logo separately please! Thank you
Thank you! I’ve been using Atlanta chemical engineering and they used to be so good and the last 3 times I ordered the pigments have been terrible!
Absolutely amazing, thank you so very much for sharing with us it is greatly appreciated.
I thought epoxy on these cups was something that is not suppose to be done? Doesn't epoxy need to be applied on double walled cups and not plastic?
No, you put ( chunky). glitter , glycerine and water in between the two walls thru a hole in the bottom. Makes a snow globe. VYour right about plastic w/ epoxy. Hope this helps answer your question.

Does it necessarily have to be vinyl to cover the Starbucks logo or can I can use any kind of stickers?
Thank you so much for sharing and being so helpful with everything.

Apply another layer of epoxy. You need a smooth surface to apply your vinyl or else it'll be bumpy. 😉👍🏻
thank you so much for sharing !
you don’t have to sand the glitter on these ? or how do you keep the chunky glitter down ?
What do you refer to as Part A and Part B,are those two different types of epoxy or no?
when you buy epoxy resin it should have two bottles marked "A" and "B" which you need to mix equal parts of to activate the resin to harden :)
Could you use these thermal powders in a snow globe style tumbler?

Where do you buy cheaper Starbucks Cups?
Cheapest way is to get them at Starbucks. Third party sellers up the price.
Thank you for this tutorial, love it!! Can you tell me how many ounces or grams are the bags of the solar color dust? Thank you
I just ordered some, they are 10 grams.

Can I use any type of glitter? Or what do you suggest
I sell high quality Polyester glitter on my website LilyRoseCraftroom.com
I have a question. When you say 48-72 hours till cured does that mean leave it spinning 😵💫 or after it dries leave it on the side ? Thanks
No. When is dry to the touch. Just put it aside.
Do you have an alternative place to purchase the thermal changing powder? The website is sold out?
Just liked your video and subscribed. Great job by the way!!
Wonderful job
I love your channel!!!!
Can you do this with brite tone too?
I only use Brite Tone as well so I would like to know if the dust can be use as well.
