Serious. Two comps ago I went with a guy twice (round robin 2 man bracket) who subbed me both times in kesa with Americana. So I don’t let people get kesa on me anymore lol
@@rstlr01 the brown n black belts where I train started using the muffler to discourage me from parking in half guard. It’s beneficial but if I KNOW resistance is futile, my thought is why burn out energy going nowhere instead of waiting for them to move/transition and capitalize on it
Seems very ecological. I have a HARD time remembering techniques, recognizing opportunities, etc. I have a history of brain trauma (blue belt, 1 stripe from Delaware Co, PA)
What tips or tricks do you have?
Watch a lot of UA-cam videos. Videotape the move on the mats and REVIEW. Solo drills to improve muscle memory.

Getting repeatedly owned in matches is a good way to remember a technique. I recommend it to everyone I roll with.

@@KazzArie I got swept by electric chair twice in one tournament. I use it probably once a night on average now!
Getting a move done on me as the fastest way to learn it. 😅 I stopped fighting so hard during the rolls and just let the teaching happen!
