How to Make Custom Hats with Monterey Company

We know that starting a custom hat order is exciting, and we want you to be excited! But we want to walk you through each step of working with us on your hat order, that way everything makes sense before you even have to click on the quote request.
There are a few things we want to make sure you come in with for your quote request:
What hat style do you want? Is there a particular brand or color you want? We can help you choose a hat, but if you come in with a style already in mind it helps us get a quote to you faster. Popular options are Dad hats, truckers, and flat bills.
What do you want on your hat? Is this going to be directly embroidered or a patch? And what kind of patch are you looking for? We offer embroidered patches, woven, PVC rubber, and leather.
Where are we shipping your order to? Depending on the size of your order and where we’re shipping, that can change the price.
Once you have an idea of what you’re looking for, you can submit a quote request on our website!
You can upload your design, let us know any extra information about your projects, and then we reach out to you via phone or email. We try to call first if you leave your number so you know you’re working one on one with a real person.
You’ll see a quote within 24 hours of asking for one, and it is not a dedication to pay once you receive it! It just means you’ll have an idea of what working with us will cost.
Once the quote is approved, we send your design over to our team to create a digital production-ready art proof. This is where we can confirm the colors and placement of your design on your hat, including if you are doing multiple locations.
We can make edits as needed to make your design just what you envision but know that we may raise the price for multiple revisions to compensate for our designer's hard work.
Then we move into invoicing your order! We will confirm your full shipping address and then send your invoice via email, which will have the option for online payment via credit card. Once the order is paid in full, we will process your order as soon as possible so you can enjoy your custom hats.
