The main couple is an adorable pair who have each been damaged by their pasts and need someone else to accept them for who they are, I love that they've found that in eachother.
Also Bird Daddy and the ENTIRE CAST are gorgeous and I can't take my eyes off of them!

Legend of Tang is an amazing animation, the story and details are perfect. The characters have a nice personality, which you feel identified with each of them. They're all a sweetheart.
Music is a masterpiece, why it shows the vitality of each character when listening to it.
Hongjun is my favorite character, he is kind and very sweet. Every time I see him interact with the other kids to uncover the mysteries and learn about his story and adventures, they make you fall in love with him at first sight.
I don't speak English or Chinese, but that doesn't matter for wue makes me feel a connection because this great and wonderful animation has completely captivated me. I love it and all the development of the story has me trapped, I can't wait for next season. I'm so excited.

In case people are wondering, yes, this is a BL. It is originally a novel with same title. Adapted to manhua, drama CD and anime as well. The novel already completed by 200+ chapters but not completed translated yet.

Started watching this on Netflix and the quality is very good. It has a high rewatch value and the graphics are stunning! I heard this is eventually going to get a live action adaptation, but I'm already wondering how they'll pull off the CGI because the amount of CGI they have to do is insane.

As an adult, i didn't think I would like this, but I have been impressed. First I'm liking Thousand Autumns, now this one, Legend of Tang. Animation has come a long way to where it's almost real.

Really enjoyed the anime. Chinese Donghua is really changing up the entertainment. Legend of tang is complex, beautiful story. The CGI is stunning top it all off. What attracts people at first glance is art which is one of the reasons to love it. The little details from their clothes to the landscapes, everything is meticulously perfect. The story is incredibly flavorful and vibrant. Amazing! Thank you bilibili, artists, and creators for your hard work!

#bilibili #LegendofTang the reason of why I love Legend of Tang is because the animation is incredible, the opening touch your heart, the characters feel alive and the story has everything: fun, tender moments, sadness,... just like real life. Eventhough we only have watch 6 episodes I can say that the story is going to touch our souls. I can't wait to see more of the journey of Hongjun, Li Jinglong, Ah Tai, Mo Rigen, Qiu Yongsi and of course the best carp Zhao Zilong, all of whom I have fallen in love alredy :)
I normally don't like 3D animation, but this is so better than I expected! And damn, those men are so fine! LOL

Oh, this really has me intrigued - I am SO binging this when it shows up on Netflix! It has the feel of a ‘00s anime - the plucky young hero of unusual origin, the cute animal companion, the epic quest - but filtered through the traditions of xianxia/wuxia. Add to that the promise of BL, and I AM SO THERE! Finally, something cool to watch while waiting for the new seasons of Mo Dao Zu Shi, Heaven Official’s Blessing, Scumbag System and Thousand Autumns (not to mention the long-awaited dramas Immortality and Winner is King).
And sad things is that "immortality" doesn't have donghua, manhwa only novel and cdrama which hasn't aired yet

This is the first time I enjoy a 3D CG anime (well except FFXV, but then that's a movie), I've never found myself being fond with this kind of graphics and I thought maybe my taste changed so I started trying to watch other ones too, but then realize - it's not my taste changed but the graphic of this anime is like SUPER sophisticated and natural!! It just looks much better!
Also the story is interesting and the guys are cute :) I mean, what beats a good story line with handsome guys, right?

the donghua that actually got me interested in chinese animation was 《Island of Siliang》 as it's animation quality and character design really impressed me alot. I watched other 3d donghua too but none caught my eye in terms of quality animation. I do love the danmei adaptation and mainly watch donghua for that reason. So I am hoping this one is a good one too.

What made me obsessed in just a few episodes however was discovering how adorable, quirky and hilarious our ragtag group of sexy exorcists and fish companion really are! In particular, I am absolutely loving the dynamic between our main CP, Hongjun and Li Jinglong, and how close they are growing with each passing episode as they find a kindred spirit in one another

The scene I loved the most is where the heart lamp was destroyed by Jinglong's sword because it was so pretty and it was also Jinglong and Hongjun's first encounter! Their adventures is so much fun, all of them love each other so much and their friendship is strong. I am looking forward to Legend of Tang S2!

I love this donghua because I believe it was fate that brought me to Legend of Tang. Passing through the videos without any attention, a thumbnail in particular caught my eyes: the first episode of this amazing series. In the beginning, I knew absolutely nothing about the story, I had never heard of the novel or the manhua, or anything else. But it didn't take more than 5 minutes on video to completely delight me. Each detail of each scene is so precisely animated and well done, that it makes me watch the same episode many times but with different perspectives, looking for little things that I had not noticed before. Fantasy stories are my favorites, and the path this is taking makes me even more excited! Thanks to that first episode, I got to know a new world of fascination and joy, and I'm even more excited about what lies ahead :) Thanks for the wonderful job and for introducing me to this masterpiece
