    I love being an all-natural girly with no makeup and my crazy frizzy messy hair 😆. I cannot encourage anyone enough, it's so freeing to just wake up and brush your teeth and know you're pretty much good!! I love my boujee girlies too, that love the art of makeup! Y'all are always rocking the looks💅 I'm just not good at it so I don't necessarily steer that way, so I try to maintain a good skincare routine with natural ingredients💕

    thanks for sharing those life lessons. I am hitting my 30s this year too. Felt like this year, career wise, its been a bit of bump. I started new nursing job January, didnt like it and left May. Now I am starting my new nursing job. I started questioning myself if I am making correct decision. Thanks to your lessons Weylie, I am at more of ease. My body is not young anymore, and I want to do of more what I can and is right for me. I also want to live more for myself. A big goal of mine is to travel more and experience more what other cultures has to offer. Excited for Japan trip we book for October. Ive been a long time follower of you and Wah for a while now. I feel like I can relate to you alot. Thank you for always making such wonderful videos. I will continue to support you guys. Thanks again so much Weylie.

    Weylie!! Gosh, I loved your advice for your 20s and heavily resonated with a lot of what you mentioned. I think the biggest ones were the last two. I have watched you blossom for about a decade now, and I really appreciated this advice. Being in my mid 20s and soon late 20s, I have felt insecure in where I am a bit in life. It is true on what you said on just living life to the fullest! Life isn’t a race at all. I’ve come to realize that comparison is the thief of joy, so just continuously working on myself and taking risks to be self-fulfilled! I think someone told me one time how we should be comfortable with uncomfortable, so that’s helped me too in trying new things rather than remaining stagnant. Thanks for being that big sis for a lot of us here ❣️

    I turned 30 in April. I learned that life shouldn’t be measured by time. You just live life. It’s ok to set goals and to try to achieve by X time, but if you don’t, then it’s ok. Just keep going and eventually you will achieve that goal. Just the time that you wished you achieved it at wasn’t the right time for it.

    It may be the thermostat. I recently bought a 2000 ford ranger in the last 6 months. After a month's worth of driving, I was getting a lot of smoke even when the needle was mid-range. Turns out, whoever installed the last thermostat, installed it upside down. So after a lot of youtube videos, and a bit of time. I installed it myself, zero problems since then.

    Honestly, I hate the phrase of "live life to your fullest" I find it gives people a negative viewpoint on their own lives because what if what they want is out of reach because of money or some other thing? What if they're care-givers and at the moment, fullest means enjoying the small things in between moments of care-giving? UA-camrs can say crap like "live for yourself" because most UA-camrs are pretty young, and now, because of UA-cam, better off than a good percentage of the world. I agree with living for yourself and not sacrificing happiness for others but I think instead of suggesting to viewers "live life to your fullest", as it's too broad a statement, it may be better to say something along the lines of - live the best life you can at the moment. It's really the simple things in life that provide happiness. And if you want, and have the means to, strive for more when you can no matter what that more is! Even if 'more' just means something simple, like going on more hikes, spending more time doing things you love.

    You should take it to a shop that specializes in TJs. There are plenty in every state. Once you get all the little things fixed on the TJ, it's amazing. I learned not to take it to firestone or any regular shops, because some of their mechanics just don't work on TJs regularly enough for me to trust them.

    • @weylie_hoang
      @weylie_hoang  Рік тому +3

      Thank you! I think we just got really lucky with our dogs tbh. They all have different personalities, but overall, they were easy to teach. I would start with building a strong bond between you and your dog. Go on walks together and work on building solid communication during your walks. Work on commands like sit, stay, leave it, yes, no, etc. It's important for your dog to understand clearly what words/commands truly mean, otherwise, they are just words. Then, slowly start introducing more distractions like going to a park or a pet store! Hope this is helpful!

    Hi Weylie! I'm stuck between trying not to resent my parents/upbringing because I truly am grateful for them and their love, but as a woman in my mid-twenties, FINALLY living my life the way I want, I always brings them disappointment. I guess I'm trying to figure out how to not feel guilty about living my life without feeling like a disappointment to my very conservative/traditional parents who do not approve of the things I want in life (I want to travel young, I like road trips, etc, the simpler life). Setting up boundaries I know will help, but does anyone know how to approach this with Hispanic parents who see boundary-setting as something rude or coming off as ungrateful?

    • @weylie_hoang
      @weylie_hoang  Рік тому +3

      I totally understand where you're coming from. This really shows your love for them as you are feeling stuck between doing what you want while not wanting to disappoint and upset them. I don't know if I have the best advice for this, but I've felt this way before and what helped me was to just not share too much with my parents. Although I know it's hard to keep things from them, especially if you guys are close ☹ I limited what I shared with them because I knew they would have a negative reaction to certain things. I say still do what you want, but be selective about how much you share. With that being said, have you tried sitting down with them and having a talk with them about this? I know sometimes we may assume our parents may disapprove of something, but MAYBE, they just need to hear from us what we would really like from them. Good luck!

    Awe, we have an Impression restaurant in Chicago Chinatown -- but it might be "Hunan Impression"? We may have stolen the name, or in Chinese culture, borrowed inspiration :)

    Anyone else turning 30 and graying badly?! I've only started dying my hair black, thought it would be no prob as an asian but it has been lasting 2 weeks and then washing out 👀 I did not expect this to happen in my 30s let alone before it, definitely didnt budget for it if I DO have to dye it every 2 weeks

    I've been subscribed to you for quite a time now, but do not watch you on a regular basis. But I wondered about do you ever want to get married or have children, and is it something that you are waiting for to happen with your partner, like I for me wouldn't wait that long on a person because if he doesn't know now if he wants to married you then he would have done it by now. A man knows if he's going to married that person it won't take him long to do it, I think that you should reconsider your situation and find someone else or maybe you just may not want to get married & have that life. You seem like you would be a great mother & wife to someone special, I just feel like you're not that happy

    Advice I would to my younger self: quit that job that is making you miserable. You didn't have to stay there for so many years. Yes, travel - go to Africa like you planned to do some humanitarium work you always dreamed of.

      I knew what I was signing up for when I purchased the car. Yes it's old & it needs work, but it's also part of the fun. It may not make sense to you, but some people (like myself) like getting my hands dirty and learning about old cars. We all have different hobbies and I'm sharing mine on my channel.
