  • robertkeeley.c... Robert Keeley and his crew are fans of Zappa. Rabid Fans. This pedal explores some of the famous, but very hard to find sounds of the past. Keeley Engineering has created another batch of Neo-Vintage effects that never were. This time Keeley has made the Flanger and Phaser in dynamic with your pick attack and strength. Then add the Random Stepped Filter with the new “M-Style Synth” bandpass shaping feature, and you have a lead guitarist’s dream tool. Shut up and play your effect pedal! Yeah, you play this thing like an extension of your mind and fingers.

Hurrah I say - this is what I call a real demo of a pedal… spared for all the technical bawling and directly to the point. Not just only demonstrating the different sound possibilities, but more importantly, showing these different effects in a musical context where is really gives meaning!
    Just absolutely great!!!
    A thousand thanks to Mike!

    ORDERED!!!
Can not wait to get my hands on this one. Your work keeps getting better and better. This will be my seventh RK pedal, and and the sixth that will be on my main board. I also have three old Boss pedals that you modded for me in 2009, while my 4-Knob compressor is autographed inside and dated 2005 - I've been a fan and a customer for a long time. I have watched your 'in-house' videos too, and am truly happy to see that such wonderful products come from what looks like a great place to work. Keep up the great job, everyone at Keeley, and please continue to let your obvious love for what you do continue to be your guide.
PS: The Katana Blues Drive might be the best damn OD anyone has ever made. It beings new meaning to the word 'transparent' in pedal lingo - each one of my guitars sounds completely like itself when played through it, in every aspect of timbre and tone. It has incredibly smooth gradations from clean to breakup, to saturation, to crunch and up to flat-out raunch. I have been searching for decades, hoping for a pedal that did all of this, and I got it for a reasonable price, from a company I like & respect - and it has TONE CONTROLS TOO!! Thank you to everyone at RK for their hard work. Cheers!

Philip Copping I have the Maxon and did a demo on my channel, which is a great pedal but is kind of a one trick pony. This thing does so much more, if this was out at the time I would have gotten this. I'm ordering one and will do a demo and post my thoughts. I do a lot of funky music and hearing this I am already hearing sounds I could use on my next record. Very funky.

arrived today.... this pedal is INSANE.... 3 hours of twiddling and still no end in sight. Exactly what I was looking for. In the 3 hours I have been playing with it I find myself altering my approach to lead lines to best utilize the effects.(this is a good thing). A pedal that opened me up to new possibilities to say the least. So many tones available from one teensy weensy pedal.WOW is all I can say.You are a frikking genius Mr. Keeley.

Yes, you just turn the sensitivity and/or depth down. Or go to bank two and you have standard flanger, phaser and a regular envelope filter.

Jesus wept Mike, I got the purple one this morning. Zero research so when I see this thingy came out 5 years ago this was my first stop to see what the hell I just bought. Ohhh man. You know it is becoming a bit of a habit since I got into pedals. The Broker was my first one bought after your demo. Now I just comb through to see whatever you’ve done.
    Daaaamn this thing sounds awesome!

I've had the BubbleTron about four years now and I really like it. I don't even like flange that much but the triggered flange is great.
Against common sense I run it after two TS9s and a Ross comp clone and it can still trigger the flange after all that gain (basically have the sens knob at 0).

This is one delightfully weird pedal. I have had various envelope filters before but this is really unique. Adds all sorts of weirdness to your playing. I put it before my drive/gain pedals and wow just floored me w the cool complex stuff that came out of it. When I played Strats I was a Robin Trower maven and this thing oh my god this thick envelope phase pulse comes out which is a tone I tried for ages to get with various drives and a photocell univibe in front like Robin. This puppy was kicking that out on my Les Paul no less, remarkably cool pedal. A fusion players dream, all you mothers get inventing!
