Dear friends, there are plenty of opportunities in IT, please do few certificates and start your job in IT, what you are learning in college is nothing, just do few certificates like CCNA, MCSE, RHCE, AWS cloud, Security etc., this will give definite jobs and you can live decent life. I have 25+ yrs of IT experience, I am sharing my experience, however its unfortunate none of you ready to start their jobs in IT, instead you are blaming unemployment in India. Instead of focusing other line and getting low salary, just focus on IT, you will get minimum 1 lac within 2 yrs.

Non coding jobs don't exist in IT world. That's a big lie told by the UA-cam people. You will need some kind of programming understanding in almost every field of IT now and with the emergence of AI and ML this requirements will only increase. Success only comes with hardwork and no shortcuts.

If you want IT job then why should we study mechanical some guys join in mechanical after they didn't get job in mechanical they are going to IT just for time pass only they are joining after they are going to IT. But who got big damage means mechanical engineers only some joining in mechanical and they are going to IT some guys joining in mechanical to become a mechanical engineer more guys are joining in mechanical for that purpose only mechanical companies are not hiring mechanical students but these time pass students no problem they have no job in mechanical means they are going to IT companies.
