I love Elliots insights, rundowns, behind the scenes and rider interviews. He's just got a cool attitude and an amazing connection with the riders. 🤘🤘👍 He's a legend 🤜🤛
Lol Valli, "all the way down?... that's new to me"🤣🤣🤣. What a character! Great to see her so positive, she'll be right up there at the top, no doubt 🤟🤟
I first saw Eliot Jackson in an interviewing GMBN, then presenting on Red Bull TV. So as I knew very little about him I decided to check out some of his riding videos, very cool, Mr nice guy. Excellent rider and seems very modest, real MTBer.
Will the race coverage improve? I want to see more than just 1/3 of the run. Showing the first 10 seconds then skipping to 1:30 then another 5 seconds then skipping to 2:45 is garbarge.
There's a few things, biggest challenge is infrastructure. Running networking and having the required number of cameras, operators and enough mixing equipment to produce it all is cost prohibitive over say a 500m vertical drop course. Second issue is how many racers do you show on stream? If it's a 4 min track and you show entire runs, showing even top 10 women and top 20 men is now 2 hours of racing plus intro/breaks/analysis segments etc =3-4h production, again more money. And I think most people want to see more than top 20 men only.
Given how much praise Les Gets had for having multiple line choice, I'm surprised that this course wasn't opened up to give more lines. Looks knarly tho 💪
So glad Elliot has dropped the feminine affect in his voice from last year and I’m not sure why every shot of riders going down the track needs to finish with him center shot laughing and giggling, I still think he’s better riding than providing commentary.
He s just one of those really happy persons. But I agree he should work on controlling that giggle to make the whole presentation look more serious and professional.
@@RealMTBAddict for the changing light. Wouldnt matter out in the light but transitioning into the dark trees with light rays it would give some consistency. A light under the visor with enough battery for a couple laps wouldnt weigh anything. See Reece Wilsons comments re: light to dark
That last asphalt corner is so ridiculous! Why would you make all those changes to the track amd then leave it all open to be decided on an asphalt corner before the finish! Makes no sense!

Red Bull couldn't have picked a better person for this than Elliot. His knowledge, passion and humor are just brilliant, loving it!
Eliot is a keeper, love his insight and the ease in doing these reviews.

Eliot is hands down one of the best presenters on UA-cam right now.
Elliots insights into modern downhill racing is a great addition to this channel. I hope he gets to do more commentating in the future. Go Elliot!
Gutted for the guys that have gone down in practice. Track looks hyper tough! Good look everyone riding and speedy recovery to those injured! 🤞🏻
Healing vibes to all 🙏

Dean Lucas looking like a different troll toy every race.
The question we all have. What did you ask Greg at 00:59?

I could not agree more. I find her to be a tiresome and contrived suck up.

Elliot, your back is turned, aren’t you afraid they might have an accident and ride into you?
Is there a UCI rule that you cant use a light ?

Well, they were going to add a BMX-style rail slide into the finish line but they ran out of time.
