    Do you have any plans on this by any chance?

      For some reason, this video has really been popular for the last few weeks and I've had several requests for plans. So, I am putting them together. They have all the dimensions from several different views, and several renderings as well as step by step explinations. They are quite detailed! Probably a couple weeks away from having a finished set? Send me an e-mail, and I'll let you know when they are ready for purchase. Price is $20.

      Thanks! And now that Dakota is finally not a puppy, he's hanging around the shop supervising more. Also, he was really fond of that chute!

    30 hours seems like warp speed compared to what I would be able to do. Nice fabrication!

    I like your videos. I also build lots of stuff out of oil pipe. Any suggestions of how you would build a latch on a double swing gates??

    • @WideVisionMetalFab
      @WideVisionMetalFab  6 років тому +1

      Thanks! Unfortunately I have little suggestions for that other than use a chain. For one customer, I welded the sucker rod box ends vertically, one on each gate, and dropped a piece of sucker rod through them. It kinda works. He had me come back and add a chain as a safety. I saw a neat design once where a piece of metal piece bent like a "7" flipped over and locked both gates together. I did an image search, and can't find it. But "System Fencing" has a "V" shaped one that's the same idea. I think if do a search for "system fencing double gate latch" you should be able to find it.
