What A good showing from elves. Down with Izzet delver. Thanks Chris great matches. I would love to see less net decks and more unique builds. Good job Reid your a favorite player of mine because of eloquence and gentleman at play.
I try to keep the camera on the players at the top of the standings. Occasionally, I'll try to highlight a unique deck doing well. I don't have any control over what the players choose to play, nor do I want to. Over time, as our local community grows, hopefully we can have even more variety. -Chris
Chris is commentating on the recorded videos. He's often playing in the event himself. He's not commentating live at the time the video is being recorded but instead streaming himself commentating on the videos and Roland is watching the stream
Brotherhood's End is better for control decks where it saves side board slots being both a meltdown and a kozilek's return in one card. The 3 damage is relevant vs initiative x/3s.
@@90sMTG alright, thanks for the answer. Wasn't because I dislike your commentary by the way, I'd just rather have either the players' sounds or commentary but not the cutting between the two.
at first i was like "Oh, an elves list made by Reid Duke" then i saw the player names.
Surprise!

Scourge Alters and RetroAlters, both make good foily stuff
Very cool.
I’m not a legacy player but I feel like elves would benefit from running 1-2 copies of veil of summer if no allosaurus sheppards are able to be found.
Maybe!
Why was Reid fetching so aggressively for nonbasics vs delver? Seems like it likely cost him in games 1 and 3.
Not sure what the gameplan was. But Wasteland is quite good against Elves.
how is roland replying in the chat while playing? im confused

Nobody REALLY understands what is going on with this channel.
Is mister Reid coming often to these events?
Nice publicity 😮
No, but this event was a lot of fun!

Quirion was countered by Daze. Not sure if that's what you're wondering.
Is his name actually Roland Chang, American Dad is strong with him?
Not sure what you’re talking about.

Is there anywhere to watch these without the commentary? I find it distracting to have the audio cut all the time
No

I run pyroclasm
Good old Pyroclasm.
These were the days. Too bad Elves is a dead deck now :(
Gaea's Cradle decks have been adjusted a bit.
