I would like to see an editing tutorial in Final Cut Pro (FCP) using the X4 as a second camera in a multicam edit. Currently, I use a P3 as my main camera, tracking me, and an Action 3 around my neck for POV shots. I import the clips into FCP, sync them using audio, and then edit in multicam mode. I want to have the option to use the X4 in place of the Action 3. I would position the X4 up high in the shop, mounted on a self-stick tripod, and then reframe the angle in FCP. This setup could also work as a three-camera configuration, syncing all three cameras in FCP. 😎🤙
Thanks Robin. This is another great video showing all the useful aspects of the X4. I bought one based on your earlier videos. With your videos now reviewing features it reminds me of all that I can do with it. Let the vacation begin!! //Tom
Thank you very much for your video. I will have my family trip in October. Your video gives me the answer. May I ask you a question? The shot with your family at the playpark and the shot with your kid on jet ski, did you use the short or 3M. invisible stick?
I’ve been thinking of getting this when I visit Bergen Norway in a couple of months. I’ve noticed I end up missing the moments I’m in because I’m thinking of the best angle to capture what I’m experiencing. And I also end up spending way too much time taking pics on hikes and walking, etc. do you know if there’s a mount for the backpack straps that’s good? I thought I’d make videos of NYC since I live there as well but it seems like it would get stolen super fast with some of the mounts I see. Maybe you have another recommendation. I was looking at either the go 3s or the dji action 4. Though I love the 360 video versatility and the editing capabilities are exciting. Thanks for your videos!
My One X2 is a serious bonus for my b-roll footage in my fishing adventures. I get ok footage from it. Definitely lower resolutions. It would be a huge leap ahead to get into something like the X4 or whatever the X5 will be. I can't wait to try it. Looping would probably be a goto for me with the newer version. X2 does not have looping available that I'm aware of. I really use it a lot for underwater fish release shots and drone-like footage of my boat as I'm driving across the water.
I used gopro 7 black on family vacations (pools, hikes...). Now choosing either go3 s or x4. Which would be a wiser choice and is the video quality on both of these better or comparable to gopro7?
I bought one. Image quality is better than x3, especially noticeable around the outer edges of the frame. Battery life is longer, and I'm enjoying the "start/stop recording" voice commands. Very disappointed in the premium lens guards. WAY too much lens flare/light refraction. Unusable for my bike trail videos. I'll just have to be super careful!

@@robinhannevig Thanks.
Great video!
I'm struggling which one to buy for family videos. The X4 or the Pocket 3. I already own the X3. What would you recommend to buy?
Family, definitely X4👍

Sounds like u put the 360 cam to good use 🙌🙌
Think might be good on drone. Being able to not worry about camera angle

Both are good tho, but go 3s is a pov camera mostly i would say and the x4 has the unlimited angles
Thank you. Excellent content!

Does it shoot in log profile
it has a Flat color profile for more dynamic range
Totally agreed
Insta360 X4 is a must for every Family Man.
