Being able to create something new and enticing is something that we all strive to do, however, when is the correct time to use these types of layouts? And, should we even use them at all? In this quick video we explore how to know when to use either.

Do you design using unique or "boring" layouts?

hey Arnau, I think your advice on designing for mobile first and then adding extra content to the desk top version rather then just using a responsive layout is great however i'm unsure how to go about this without creating a 1/3 extra work for myself.
If you could make a video on your mental process when doing this sort of design and even better the actual process of you creating it in webflow would be really helpful!

you are so right; we as designers need to think first about how a design will help with converting and business scaling

I’ve been upgrading my website. The unique designs are a lot harder and take more time. But i think it’s worth to be one of a kind

I think as you said, first we have to test it, and not only with the client, but also with some users to know if the usability and experience of the site are good enough!

Good point, how would you personally go about testing it?

Valid points all the way Arnau. Different type of layouts really depend on the goal of the website you're trying to achieve. Great video

Yup, I design mostly for local business and SaaS clients so it gonna be cookie cutter lol
Unless they reallyyy want the risk that comes with a unique design

Have you designed more unique sites for these locals businesses? Or do they always ask for cookie cutter?

Always wanted projects based on functionality than creativity. Mostly business owners here than visionaries.
For some, I propose a unique site based on their budget and other factors though

The problem with my unique layout is not looking professional. i want people to trust me and spend money
