      Cool thanks. I was just wondering cause for some reason, the description dimensions says it's only 26 inch instead of 29.5 wing span. But I've heard that's wrong that they are actually the full 29.5

    A pretty good demonstration Andy. Added a like! Just a couple of suggestions. Because XK are a bunch of female reproductive organs and will not publish their destruction manuals online it would help if, when reviewing their products, you would place the manuals on a flat surface and show each important page in stationary high definition. Also it may just be because I am old and slow these days, but I don't feel that you have completely defined what the 6G/Senior and 3D/6G switches exactly do and exactly how they interact.
    The last point of concern is that several users of good reputation have found that the on-board servos are only held onto the flight board by 1 screw each. The other side of each servo is held by some sort of glue which has a tendency to come adrift. Probably best to add some epoxy/hot glue to reinforce them there before they start lifting off the board! 😱

      good suggestion and thank you for writing it.
      I did not touch much on the 6G/Senior and 3D/6G switches exactly do and exactly how they interact mainly is it will be demonstrated in the flight video...

    What is fly time? Also how does this fly compared to volantex new p51? They say board has been upgraded...i thnk emachine p51 has same board...at bg site even volantex p47 says it now has auto take off and low voltage,also saw recent p47 flight with no gyro on and it flew good..i think original emachine p47 was very tail heavy and needed a lot more weight in nose to fly well without gyro...happy flying..thanks

    • @AndyYuenRC
      @AndyYuenRC  Рік тому +1

      This plane flew awesomely the theory is always "the larger the aircraft, the more easy to fly" flight time wise, 5-8min depending on your throttle management...
      as for the Volantex planes, they all flew with 761 board. and it is a reliable board of course...
      there is no auto take off, but the take off for this type of plane is always full up elevator and punch the throttle to avoid prop strike...
      hopped i answer your questions =)

    I don't know why my P-51 Mustang (same like your model) had some issue when flying. Elevator and rudder are good but the issue when it comes to aileron. The rate looks too small and it has to take pretty long turn (left and right).

    • @AndyYuenRC
      @AndyYuenRC  Рік тому +1

      change the mode to 6G or apply rudder on turnings to gave more yaw (faster turn)

  • @Dilbert0123

    Got this one yesterday. Flew several Volantex before. This so far disappoints me during flight. I so far do not feel the additional punch, the heavy bird does does not make one loop to the 180 degree, before it breaks out and dives. Since I made the the weight / ratio test as you did, I do certainly not achieve 1:1 and wonder why. Even remounted the propeller, no difference. The LiPo does not work anything close to 4 minutes which is a joke. Last, the Gyro: If you fly 3D, the plan does not make any sharp turns. If you change to 6G, it flies w/o big tolerance and levels out nothing - I wonder if anyone achieves a maiden w/o crash. So something wrong with the thing, it is frustrating! Last but not least thank you for the video - with the included manual in German I would not have understood what to do, it was like reading Hieroglyphes. I either go back Volantex or will buy a E-Flite P51, this does not work out for me😢

    • @AndyYuenRC
      @AndyYuenRC  Рік тому

      if you get it from a hobby shop, you can went back to the shop for claims. or, what you can do is to check on the lipo, is it a good ones or a faulty ones? many small planes, the first to died off is the lipo's

    • @theoztreecrasher2647
      @theoztreecrasher2647 10 місяців тому

      You have the modes described wrongly there. 6G is Beginner with self-levelling with pitch/roll limits. (1 beep) 3D is AS3X/Rate/Wind Correction Only. (2 beeps)
      And you are correct. With the stock 4-blade prop and on 2s, this is gutless! However if you replace that easily broken stock prop with a 7x5 2-blade prop (MAXIMUM size/pitch! Plus you will need a 6mm hub and some washers to pack the hub up to the very long stock hub dimension) you will find it flies very nicely. If you want to go to 3s you should know that the full battery voltage is applied directly to the flight board so it might pay to add a buck convertor to lower the 3s to 2s for the board. 😉

    I know they are different, but how do this compare to the ones from Volantex, in beginner and expert mode?

    • @AndyYuenRC
      @AndyYuenRC  Рік тому +2

      you will feel this bird will have more "punch" or power as compare with Volantex warbirds.
      As for beginner wise, Volantex are more beginner friendly as to compare with Wltoys. you at lease need to know the basics before flying this Wltoy's Mustang.
      Basic as in aileron, elevator and Rudder. other than that, This plane serve you best of both world. you can flew it at night flying, and close the lights while flying it in the day time.
