I got 2 Citizenships and I reside as “tourist” in a 3rd one..
It’s very convenient.
I advice to almost anyone seeking a better and freer life for themselves and their families..
Remember.. “The Government” is NOT your friend.. ;)
Happy for you friend!
I have 3 passports and all of them are expired... Should go fix all that soon.
can you give an indication of what the minimum amount of wealth you would need to have in order to make something like this worth doing?
@@alter3go411 to spend 200K, I would think your liquid net worth would be in excess of 1-5 million (20% to 1/25th of your net worth) not cheap but value is never cheap. Your really "buying" freedom for your tax slave master in a way. 👍
@@cbr929rrridingfree9 Having an income online would drastically reduce this number for anyone curious. Buy the condo and make sure you have like $2000 coming in monthly (you could do less, but this would be safe). Everyone should start a business, imo. You can live pretty much anywhere.
That moment when applying for citizenship, when they ask for a reference letter, and you realize you have no friends. Hits deep.
I've been anxiously waiting for this video. Thank you. I didn't realize St. Kitt's economic citizenship was on sale. Other Caribbean islands need to take notice so that competition can drive down the price.
Amen to that!
True expat right here. Had a taste of the nomad lifestyle for 3 years and regret being back in the states.
Financial Freedom once you’ve experienced that kind of freedom it’s hard to go back into that box!
Well Heidi, I'm working my way back out, through crypto ;)
What did you regret about it?
St Kitts
has no income tax
Anabolic Crypto very true.
capital gains too?
Thanks for sharing that information Heidi!
Really interesting and good to know how to go about getting something like that.
However, I think the cost would be a major barrier for most people (me included).
Gary Dowling trust me, I can certainly understand that.
Thanks for sharing your personal experience. I know from your other videos privacy is important to you. I very much respect your adventurous attitude. Strong young woman that we can all admire. Your family must be very proud. All the best to you and yours.
Mike P I really appreciate these kind words, they mean a lot to me. Very glad I have a great audience to share this with.
@@CryptoTips I have learned a lot from you and stop whatever I am doing when you post a new video. Thank you , please know your work is very much appreciated.
yes! congratulations! it would be great to hear why you chose to have 2nd citizenship. thanks
hawksnestvision I think it’s smart to decentralize your citizenship status if you’re in a position to do so.
Thanks Heidi I contacted Jennifer today
Congratulations on your new citizenship... This video really helped me
Rain Bitcoins very happy to know that!
Thank you for the info. I have 2 passports and on my way to have a second citizenship (If approved). I will check St-kitts and Nevis.
Kevin Djoffon best of luck to you!
Where can I apply for it too ?
Hi Heidi, that's cool, I used to live in St Kitts when I was little (I'm from the UK) oh...... and I'm sure Nevis is pronounced Nee - vis not Nev - is (its originally from Spanish I believe). Love your vid's, keep up the great content!
Spanish pronunciation of "Nevis" would be "Nay-VEESE." But Wikipedia corroborates your statement that it's pronounced "NEE-vis." Must be Anglicized pronunciation.
What is your primary citizenship and why did you get a second passport?
watergapman U.S.
I wanted a second passport so I could have more options in the future if I ever needed them.
@@mattr8251 pretty sure she is part of the honking tribe.
@@aluckyshot yea..i think i saw a video of her talking about being redpilled.. good for her. we need more sane voices to replace the ones getting banned
@@CryptoTips well looking a bit, it seems that if you invest in real estate you need to just put extra 50K$ more, so why not put a bit more and sell that real estate after 7 years (instead of losing 150K$) , besides that this passport just gives you a bit more freedom to travel in some places, but you can not work or live there, besides your new resident country, it is not an EU citizenship or so... so I don't think it is worth it. better put the 150$K in bitcoin and you will have more options in the future :)
@@sneedanye interesting perspective, I tend to agree with you

Michael Bech thank you 🙏
This video is brilliant. Such a wild concept. Appreciate you focused on how much of a privilege it is to have a this opportunity!!
GrowthGuided it is a huge privilege! Glad that you appreciated this.
Thank you. That was some very specific, personal and helpful information.
John I’m happy I could help.
Thanks to you and this video, I learned about Jennifer and am now in discussions w her, to explore a few options! 🙏
You’re not Legal advice but you are inspiring! Good on ya 🌴

Good for you Heidi, I am proud of you and happy for you, you have really jammed a lot of stuff into your life in such a short period. It is a bit of an understatement really LOL. I cannot believe Andrew would deny helping you, he has worked with so many crypto people. I have chatted with him, I will set him straight one day for ya LOL
Who is Andrew?
Really cool! congrats Heidi on your new citizenship!
Thank you Michael :)
How long does it take to get this ?
Omg this is bad because there is so much … going on … not on the level in the USA; to have a government that won’t violate your privacy and be over controlling would be a blessing
Nice! I will get one soon! Thanks for sharing! 😀
I can listen to you for hours
And after that you change for Portugal ?! That´s Freedom !!!! Congrats!! Hope some day in the future I have at least the freedom to choose.
It is Nevis. Pronounced knee-vis.
@David Lutz hi are you from here? Do you want to tell us how to pronounce the name of our country? Y'all foreigners keep pronouncing the name wrong.
@David Lutz 🤣 I like you. You're cool.
4:14 thank you!
Great video! Thank you for spending the time to explain your choice and come at it from different angles. How are things going there now with COVID? How are you liking it? I wanted to visit for a short vacation but it didn’t seem like there were any flights going in from Canada right now. Hope you’re well.
I live in Portugal actually.
@@CryptoTips My wife and I had been going back and forth between the idea of living in St. Kitts and or Portugal. Might consider doing what you did. Thanks for the idea.
@@CryptoTips Would you have preferred becoming a citizen of Portugal instead on going through this process if you were able to?
@@888cromartie no, I much prefer the tax laws of SKN
What are the benefits of dual citizenship? What do you get out of it? How do US taxes work, when you work or earn money abroad? How does this make it easier for you to travel abroad?
If you are a US citizen you have to pay taxes and report everything to the US government. No exceptions.
US citizens pay taxes for their earnings outside the USA there is only one other country in the world who does that and it's called Eritrea(not a democracy but a dictatorship) The second passport it's useful for US citizens because under FATCA (law past from previous admin Obama ) the banks around the world are refusing to accept US citizens. I'm having difficulties getting basic banking services because of FATCA
@@ax6070 isn't this the exact reason for crypto in the first place? eg. eliminate the need for banking?
@@tigerpark135 Bank or not, the taxman still requires his cut
@@tigerpark135 while it is the reason for crypto, many Crypto exchanges are now requiring KYC compliance so that they can report on users to the government. Double edged sword at the moment. Also, cryptos don't negate passports, which countries can still use to restrict travel or escape. A second passport is an end-run of that restriction.
If I marry you will it fast track my application? If not, can I marry you anyways?

Thanks for making this! Way outta my price range and ability for now, but good to know for the future.
Can you own firearms in St Kitts?
I don't know.
@@fredflinstone8750 you are probably not the right type of citizen St. Kitts & Nevis is looking for... 😀
Congratulations on your achievements, enjoy, wonderful knowledge sharing, (not at reach for most, anyway glad to know it is possible) :D
New promotion for the passport of St. Kitts. These modified rates will be available until 31 December 2020. This means families of up to four people can secure citizenship for a $150,000 to the Sustainable Growth Fund, down from $195,000.
Hello together, i got a short question.
In Switzerland you are forced to serve 1 year in the military between age 18-28. Do you know if that would be a problem for me when applying for my passport in S. Kitts? For example in Monaco you can not get the Citizenship if you still need to serve military time in your home country.
Hi there quick one, my wife is a citizen by investment through her Father , Do you know if there is away our son can be added as a dependant to get the citizenship as well?
Why not get a citizenship at Liberland instead? Certainly it's better and cheaper...
It is not tax free country .
Plus it is a disputed territory, so that countries citizenship may not exist in the future.
.... and doesn't exist.
I'm struggling with the ROI of this upfront/sunk cost. Do you get a tax break from the new country or other benefits that offset some of the cost (healthcare, favorable business loans, etc.)? That cost is significant and there must be a better explanation than just "having options" right? Love your channel btw.
St Kitts & Nevis - no tax. Also, citizens do not have to adhere to certain investment/banking regulations that US citizens have to. I'm sure she's fully looked into the advantages and possible disadvantages - she denounced soon after this video.
How's the cell phone service? Fast internet?
Thank you for this. I was already aware of Nomad Capitalist and i didn't even bother contacting him because of their "standards." My plan A is Puerto Rico's act 60. My plan B may very well be CBI with St.Kitts. I do agree that he does have other useful info on his channel. I enjoy learning about other countries which he talks about and their pros and cons. I guess he just isn't a good match for me on the business end. I'd also recommend Simon Black's "Sovereign Man" and Doug Casey was the first one I came across years ago, with "International Man."
Hi Heidi I know this video is on St Kitts, but I'm wondering who did help you with your Portugal Citizenship? Not sure if you have made a video on that. Thanks so much.
Does anyone know how renouncing would affect an e-commerce business that manufacturers and sells online in the U.S?
Very interesting. As a Travel person myself. This is very interesting to me. Having travel to 55 countries so far. It was always of interest for me to try to live elsewhere for a while from visiting various places. For most part I have CDN passport, which does open several doors of entry already, but as you mentioned a 2nd citizenship, could be handy in the future for sure. New Adventures could await. thanks for opening my eyes on this. got me thinking about some things involving travel and living. as usual amazing video and very helpful information. Sincerely JR
Highly unique information, greatly appreciated.
top info as always cheers
Does St. Kitts have widespread travel visa-free agreements with many other countries?
John Kerber yes! About 130 or more I believe. It’s a huge reason why I chose this one.
wow! Well done Heidi!!! thats awesome stoked for you guys!!!! dang i guess i blew it HODLING so long lol
No worries, I'm still hodling as well... just a lot smaller pile now.
NEEEEVIS pronounces Knee-vis
Plz woman, go back to where you come from
Smh… I’m just here in shock at how governments just selling the little land we have to people who have proven over and over again to not be our friends.
@@mslouison4316 she gave them 150k and got a little book in return. What are you complaining about? No one took your land 🤣
so if you are married is the amount of the donation just doubled? for example, a married couple would have to pay 300,000?
No, it is $150,000 for the "head of the household" and then for let's say your spouse it cost something like $35,000.
@@CryptoTips ok, thanks. I appreciate you taking the time to reply.
Hi hiedi
Through which agent you get Sant Kitts citizen ship and what your advice.. Thanks.
Jhmarlin.com
I’m still trying to understand why you would pay more than $150k for this citizenship. Is the tax advantage so big?
Peter Farla it’s an excellent back up plan and because I value the things that I do, it was a wise investment choice for myself.
$150K is more than I've earned in my entire life!
@Peter Farla, the U.S. is making it a liability to be a citizen. Just a few limited examples... the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (unconstitutionally) gives power to the U.S. Government to audit foreign banks if they service Americans. As a result, many foreign banks have dropped accounts for Americans. The U.S. claims the ability to tax an American's foreign spouse, who lives abroad and never claims U.S. Citizenship. The U.S. has placed a cap on the amount one can earn abroad before having to pay outrageous taxes (keeping in mind that taxation is theft and theft to any degree is outrageous). The U.S. Government keeps jacking up the price for the Expatriation Form, which use to be free. Then there's the illegal wars and debt. One wonders how the U.S. could go so wrong when its next door neighbor is tropical paradise --- the long string of Caribbean Islands. I'd rather relocate under a lone palm.
@@CryptoTips Good for you! Trying to understand this. Enjoy!
What do you think about baltic countries? They offer such golden visa by investment.
Is St Kitts a Crypto friendly country?
Why didnt you choose a cheaper option like Dominica for example? Whats the difference?

Amazing, congrats on your new citizenship! Curious to know, why did you go for St Kitts vs Grenada or even a less expensive option such as Dominica or St. Lucia?
Where can I apply for one of them ?

Sooo… Why St. Kitts???
I think everyone would like to know!
spriggsgone as I explained in this video, I took into account the type of government there as well as the cost of the process. Also the amount of countries I can travel to with visa free access with that passport.
I really liked this segment because it touches on an important topic that many people in Crypto may be considering... Well done! I agree that Andrew at Nomad Capitalist is a very hard working person and is definitely someone who can be very helpful in putting together the right "system" to cater for our unique circumstances & preferences - as an individual person, and that of our economic interests. I think it's a subject worthy of research and evaluating first hand.
Cheer to that.
I love you!
Do you feel safe in St Kitts?
I don't live there.
@@CryptoTips No Crypto Taxes there. I looked into it.

How many millions do I need to live that lifestyle? I’m about that life
Congrats Heidi!
As a citizen of SKN, that means as a direct subject of the Queen of SKN (which happens to be the British Monarch) does that mean you also benefit from getting access to British Embassies globally? I read somewhere that Commonwealth Realm citizens can access British Embassies in countries where their country has no representation.
I believe so

Hi there, thank you for posting sharing this info.
I hold a New Zealand passport and I am a resident alien of the United States. I don’t typically have any issues traveling aboard. What are other benefits if any of becoming a citizen in Saint kits?
Thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts. I'm wondering at what point in you're application did you make the donation payment. Will it be after being approved by the government or will it be at the start of your application.
Yes, after approval.
Are you US citizen? how would this compare to just having residence in Puerto Rico?
Info Planet I am interested in having better options, a back up plan in case it’s ever needed in the future. Puerto Rico doesn’t work for me as it requires that I reside there for a majority of the year. I don’t like having to stay put in one place for too long.
@@CryptoTips There are currently 5 different scenarios used to determine Puerto Rican residency, and tax status, one of which is 183 day stays. This time requirement is not needed as long as you don't reside in the US proper for longer than 90 days of the same year... just saying. Excellent vids.
@@iwantmyfpv2654 So 1 doesn't reside in the US for longer than 90 days (is this including Puerto Rico along with the 50 states), 1 can still be a puerto rico resident?
