    To help with sleep apnea i started taping my mouth at night, so im forced to breath through my nose only, which can last for 5 to 6 hours. I think its been beneficial to my health, and i also seem to not struggle so much with hold downs.

    Should've watched this before I went out in 5-8ft surf in Rhode Island, on my first year of surfing, clearly a bit of a struggle to breathe

    Do you think using an elevation/low-oxygen mask during resistance training would help surf breathing training?

    How substantial is the impact of having a deviated septum/not being able to breathe through your nose properly?

    • @jrcxley
      @jrcxley 8 місяців тому

      I had a deviated septum when I was young, and the only fix is surgery.

    I developed inverted breathing by trying to hide the beer gut I had. I was constantly holding my gut in and it affected my breathing. Now I’m trying to reverse this bad habit

    One way to stop lung flushing while training is to chew gum or wear a mouth guard.
