You can easily do what i did with lower grade weapons and gear, having a good weapon and gear doesn't exactly make the hunt any less easy or make you any less likely to cart, it just saves you some time, you still have to learn the monsters patterns, openings what to dodge etc.
Well you can use the normal velk armor and raging GS. Same concept. If you dont have those too, I suggest start farming for them . Lols, raging brachy could be pain in the ass at first tho
rajang and furious rajang are probably yhte easiest monsters to learn with a GS, they are also great teachers of the real mastery of the weapon. learn the handful of patterns that have opening, hit in those openings then sheath, superman dive every time you're getting caught off guard, guard if you can't dive. if you don't succeed, after your third try you'll have looked at the monster so much, everything he does will feel obvious.
made that build with the velk armor, one piece of frostfang barioth and a safi gs with maxed attack awakening and a health augment. it's an amazing mid range draw gs build. currently looking up for some optimisations and swapping parts for velkana gama equivalents.
Completed With My Fatalis Insect Glaive... 🤭 Took longer but its safer way to survive for beginners.
