So many drivers see the limit as a target, not a limit, especially on country lanes with the National Speed Limit (60). On many country lanes, you can't even hit the full 60, let alone even get near it. Thanks again, Mr T.

I passed my test last month. I was so cautious during the test at one point I was doing 20mph on a 30mph road without realising, the examiner said ‘look ahead, is the road clear? What speed should you be doing?’. I was so tense I thought he wanted me to slow down at first! But then realised it was a hint to speed up. I did get a minor for this, but was sure I failed since he had to intervene to give tips. Luckily he was a very nice examiner and that was my only fault!

Just to clarify the road I was doing 20mph down was a long, wide straight road with no cars around, so definitely should have been going faster, but realised my mistake within seconds so managed to adjust (although without the examiner saying I don't think I would have realised). One of those moments of knowing I was nearing the end of the test and stupidly lost concentration, but luckily still a pass!

Could have understood how the road started as a 20 and after went into a 30.

@@BALHAM69 I honestly think a lot does come down the the examiner you get unfortunately. I passed 2nd time, the 1st time my examiner was extremely grumpy and failed me for something I thought was extremely unfair (And so did my instructor). So getting a nicer instructor the 2nd time who gave me a hint like that was a welcome surprise 😂.
He did mention at the end of the exam it would have been a fail if a car was behind me and I held them up, but because it was clear all round and I didn't affect anyone else it was just a minor, so that also comes into play.
I hate that if I type "drive travis" its not travis scott best song comping up at the top of the search results, its you... fml
