Ludwig is the typa guy to lose 500k, a world record, and his car in one day, and then upload a video of him toasting steak.
wait he lost 500k and his car???
@@CasonWallaceEnjoyer his dream car got stolen at the yard warehouse, don’t know about the 500k part, but his all-time twitch subscriber record got beaten by kai cenat
@@CasonWallaceEnjoyer 500k in an investment for an esports team which supposedly lost their first match to some random team
@@Kaybl i knew about the world record part and i just saw his mogul mail video about him getting robbed
@@angelarias3395 rip
we learned two things from this video
1. ludwig's toaster is so good, it can cook steak better than a human
2. ludwig's so bad at cooking, the toaster can beat him in a steak off
Well, it can cook steak better than a Ludwig, I guess there are many humans that cook their steaks until they are actually done
@@andreunkreativ Your supposed to eat wagyu like that, since it has so much fat that if you try to cook it medium or well done, the fat will literally just dissolve and the steak will collapse.
@@andreunkreativ It was done. Cooking steaks all the way through is an affront to all of Gods creation
@@T0NI_ 👀
boy spelled 2 as "to", i guess kindergarten is ludwigs main audience so it checks out
Imagine being a cow and getting killed just for Ludwig to put you in a toaster
My Tauren in Kalimdor is shaking in her epic teir boots.
Imagine being a parent and raising a child just for it to be Ludwig and put a steak in a toaster.
@Atlas if i was a parent and my child started making bank by roasting steak I'd be happy as hell
not just a cow, they treat wagyu cows like fucking kings, and at the end of this cows life, they can rest easy knowing that popular streamer Ludwig put his flesh in a toaster
@Atlas If my kid was a Ludwig I would be overjoyed.
we didnt learn that a toaster can cook a steak, we learned that Ludwig, cant cook a steak very well.
I hate how chat is completely clueless on how to cook things, but is so confident on the shit they say
Ong "why DidN't U uSe oiL" because it's waygu the fat content is enough to grease the pan
Yeah that was driving me crazy as I was watching.
Especially funny was when one moment you'd see chat say it's raw, and then the next you'd see people say it's overcooked.
The wooden cooking board thing was a pain though. Literally easier to clean than a plastic cutting board.
Lud using a 500 dollar toaster to cook a 350 dollar steak then eating it with a plastic fork is the most logwig moment ever.
Don't forget the dropped steak.
Where was the plastic fork?
chat simultaneously spamming raw and overcooked is incredibly funny
Was kind of accurate too, one side was charred nicely and the other side was not charred at all.
"it's just hot metal" - Ludwig dissing toasters but also describing electric kettles, ovens, stovetops, water heaters, etc lol it's actually really common
I'd say that all those other appliances are way more complicated than bread toasters. The Michael Reeves scenario still holds up to me, because it's so simple and doesn't require anything fancy, like insulation or advanced settings
How is an oven just hot metal?
@@molspagetti Of the ones I mentioned, they all pretty much just output at some percentage of maximum until a sensor is triggered. Whether that's temperature for an oven or water heater, or steam in the case of a kettle. They're all surprisingly simple, I'd recommend videos from Technology Connections if you think it's much more than that
@@kalelsoffspring but for ovens you have to build the whole insulated case. It still feels like Michael Reeves could come up with a toaster more easily in the world where they don't exist yet
@@molspagetti okay, sure, "box that keeps heat in" *might* be more advanced than a normal Michael Reeves invention, but I was just pointing out all those devices are similar
Ludwig: I bought this steak 24 days ago and QT took it out of the fridge when I went to Japan
Translation: QT made me use this before it goes bad because I forgot about it
blows my mind that ludwig makes more money than my entire family and I combined but he doesn't know what a nicely cooked piece of steak looks like
Money doesn’t equate to knowing how to cook
@@angiathlete U can buy cooked steak at these places called restaurants
@@angiathlete as a broke guy i feel like its incredibly basic knowledge 🧐
Hasn’t someone done this before 🤔
@@lilpunk-_- I feel like the reason he doesn't is cuz he got his money so fast and he spends it on projects rather than food
I love how whenever someone does these types of streams all of a sudden immediately everyone in chat becomes a 3 star Michelin star chef lmao
They probably think searing "seals the juices in." xD
Ludwig is definitely the guy to toast a $500 steak, I don't blame him after getting his car stolen, now he can do whatever he wants.
3:43 he doesn’t even really like the steak 😂
Ludwig is the type of guy to say “i won’t eat what i won’t fuck” and proceed to eat a wagyu steak
He has done enough your mom jokes to have Wagyu

Expectation: "Can a toaster cook a Wagyu steak?
Reality: "Am I a better chef than a toaster?"
*no*
A certified chef Ludwig classic
A certified glizz- oh :((
i had way too much faith QT taught him how to make a steak and expected some gormet ass steak
“There’s no sizzle, because the toaster is not an oven”
Mmm yes 🤔
Lud was laying in bed and thought... I have an idea.
ong bro makes anything a stream
Ludwig the type of guy to think that cooking steak in a toaster would be a good idea.
Well to be fair, that’s how every guy is
To be fair, seems like it worked out well lol
to be fair that toaster is basically 2 hot plates that sandwich whatevers in the middle.
I mean... it sounds much easier and more precise.. not talking about those weird standing toasters in America tho
The description of a household toaster was spot on.
It really does just seem like a Michael Reeves invention that was meant to be a hand warmer but we used it for bread instead.
Everyone in chat becomes a Michelin star chef the minute Ludwig starts cooking
“It’s just hot metal” literally describes all cooking ever😂
Lud's editor needs a raise 😂 he's doing good work
*god’s
There are too many goddamn well done steak eaters in Lud’s live chat
people unironically saying it's raw in the chat is so disgusting
I actually have more respect for Ludwig now that he ate the bit of steak that fell on the floor rather than wasting it 😂
Ludwig’s the type of mogul male to spend an animal sanctuary stream repeating that he’s pescatarian after streaming himself eating a Wagyu Steak.
Ludwig going through life is like watching that rich friend who doesn’t know much fumble through it, but still be on top
Ludwig the type of guy to eat potentially expired potentially raw steak and not blink an eye
tbf the chances of catching anything from raw beef is extremely miniscule
my favorite part of videos is polite roasting lud in the edit
“ITS NOT DEAD” Got me choking on my food
bro you just did what Schatt did with literally the same toaster
schlaggs vids with the toaster are better to. big ludwig fan but in this 1v1 he takes the L
3:35 the chat saying it's raw, overcooked and perfect at the same time
I appreciate this editor so much, I was so curious as to whether or not Lud had any bad effects from that "rare" steak. Editor had my back
Ludwig seems like the type of guy to levitate when he smells wagyu
I love the back and fourth chat gives with contradicting food advice 😂
the editing in this one is fr top notch
Fun video could be to do a blind taste test with your friends between a professional chef's Wagyu and the toaster's Wagyu
Nothing like zoning out at 6am to Lud toasting a Wag.
The fear in Ludwig’s eyes when he bit into the steak from the toaster
God said "let there be taste" and it was good.
So interesting thing about toasters and some other simple appliances, they don't have built in timers or computer chips or even sensors. There's a type of metal that springs out as it gets hotter, and they use that as a switch to turn the circuit of and cut the heat. Since its not really possible to control exact heat output in most devices, they turn off and on again to maintain a specific heat, and the dials on a toaster for instance just changes how long the metal is to control when it touches the circuit.
The explanation of what a toaster is at the end is to die for 😂😂
love the cat smelling the steak thinking "Hey I wants some"
I learned one thing from this video, and that's that ludwig's toaster is a better cook than ludwig himself
1:12 is the epitome of Ludwig Ahgren
polite did a fire job editing this
This reminds me of a time not long ago in high school, my parents left for the weekend, on the sunday they came back, they found a patty inside of our toaster, we partied the night and day before
ludwig cooking like wubbly
this felt like an episode of Food Wars and Soma only had a toaster
Man woke up and said ‘I know what I’m gonna do today’
watched the whole video its a certified hood classic
1:03 did bro really just ask chat if they smelled something
Man I love your collaboration w toast from otv looks like a great content ❤️
damn polite going crazy with the editing
Ludwig is the kind of fella to toast a 500$ steak
In a 500$ one slice toaster ...
@@Sonny_Black that toaster looks wild
@@ctrainbeats Ya Japanese toasters are on another level
Hey Lud, I’m a long time viewer. The first video I saw was you ranking sodas. From there I watched you all the time and tried to tune into streams. I stoped for a while because I just started watching other UA-camrs but recently I went through a super hard patch in my life and I started watching you again. Coming back I still laugh at your videos and they have pulled me out of so many bad moods. So I just wanted to say thank you for making such good content. :)
I’d pay a premium for luds toaster steak
certified Ludwig classic
polite went crazy with this edit
that’s the toaster schlatt used when he cooked steak😂
I would love to see Michael try to build a toaster
Damn this video has higher quality editing than normal... I see you dear editor ;)
Honestly one of my favorite videos lately. It'd be cool to see more stuff like this
one thing I learned is to not let Ludwig cook. That toaster is so damn fancy tho
That toaster looks like a case meant to hold an even more expensive toaster.
If anyone deserves to get their mini truck stolen, it's probably someone that cooks wagyu in a toaster
Apparently all of chat are 5 star chefs
wagyu is actually better when closer to medium than medium rare because the heat is actually able to warm and melt the fat
lud says $350 wagyu in a toaster: let's see what happens
Lud says "A nice medium": I'm screaming at my phone lmao
I love how he just... Cooked the perfect wagu in a toaster...
Eating medium rare refreased meat seems like a totally fine and safe idea
now he needs to do toaster vs air fryer
All those professional chefs in chat
Great editing in this one
need a ludwig guga collab so he can say he likes wagyu after
When you want a $500 toaster but don’t want to pay taxes
*ludwig dropping the fork*
my immediate thought: there goes $50
Well, he's right. When my last sandwich toaster broke, I bought a contact grill instead. It's literally the same thing except I can put stuff larger than two slices of bread in it.
The things I would do to have wagyu money... Meanwhile he throws it in a toaster
tbf, a toaster is just 2 metal grates with heating elements, so "putting stuff in a toaster" isn't that different from putting it on a bbq or a grill.
panini iron would be like baking both sides at the same time in a pan.
thats a fancy ass toaster. looks perfect
The real ones know that’s “schlatts” toaster
Daamn, lud got me craving a nice steak
Genuinely impressed at how that toaster handled the steak
Same. I bet cleaning the fat out of it to use it as a toaster again will be a chore, especially if it doesn't have a drip tray. Although, throw another piece of bread in there first & you have "pre-buttered" toast!
Finally someone who does actually like actually cooked steak not just a crust on the outside and raw meat on the inside
My guy that is no toaster, that is some premium 1 slice perfect toast oven.
this is very educational for someone who cant cook. appreciate it.
That actually didn't seem as bad as expected huh
Michael Reeves definitely invests the toasted in an alternate reality
the back of the steak on the toaster looks like something from mcdonalds ngl
You should try it in a regular toaster
I was laughing my ass off when he showed his cooking skills
This video is “man learns that toasters get hot”
This is the exact same thing schlatt did 3 months ago with the exact same toaster
I’ve never had it happen I’d love for Ludwig to be the first big content creator I truly enjoy watching to reply to my comment
_Gordon Ramsay entered the chat to say it's raw and slams the door on his way out_
chat: "its overcooked"
also chat: "its raw"
this video is awesome :) so chill 10/10
why is this video so fresh💀
My man bought the toaster-wagyu machine
Was anyone else too lazy to watch the entire stream so you just waited for the video? No? Just me?
Ok
