Sorry, I struggled a lot with that too. Go into a private game and practice first. It definitely takes some perfect button strokes!

I tried this out (an enemy climbed the opposite pillar and I knocked him out with a dropkick) and the achievement didnt work for some reason

Could be a glitch. My Safely Afloat 30 sec achievement also didn't count. I tried to post a feedback on it but haven't heard anything. May have to just do it again.

you probably need to fall down right after you knock them out so that when you are awake again you are on the ground, so probably try it again like that.
