I think the beauty of this battle is how hard Abo Ice pushed River’. Seems like River’ had to bring out the big guns since he knew how tough an opponent Abo Ice is. Any less and Abo Ice could’ve taken it

Seems based on instagram comments and posts that ice has apologized and river says it’s all good now. that being said i think ice’s inexperience on the stage and probably high tension led to him behaving a bit over the line, and river also responded in a way that further agitated ice most likely. i think both battlers could have had better attitude (ice more so). but i think in the second round ice lost a lot of steam
He wasn't over the line. He's like 'look at me', nothing wrong with that. Putting 2 fingers up saying they have done the same round twice and also cross arms for unoriginal material is what we need to worry about cos it ruins the vibe and almost always comes when its not even true. He shouldn't have to appologise, I hope he doesn't lose that edge cos of the response. People always asking for a battle then moan when they get one??!!

Olalaaaaaa, tellement de chose a dire se se battle. Premierement ca va trop loin quand on sait que River est a cheval sur les regles avec le temps etc un mec comme Ice qui le touche bcp ca a du le rendre fou furieux. Je rajouterais a ca que Ice c'est un peu comme Inertia c'est frais c'est des nouveau son des nouvelle texture mais ca deviens assez vite la meme chose je trouve. Par exemples ses deux round sont structuré pareil et c'est toujours la meme chose mais attention ca reste incroyable et au niveau GBB. Continu comme ca les meilleurs react de Ytb

Both artist’s are incredible however. I wonder how the battle would have went / felt if it was abo ice vs another artist with higher battle energy. Because River dismisses Ice’s battle energy but then turns around an brings his own battle energy. Making it feel more one sided.

Bonjour bonsoir a tous et a tois alem, je respecte le taf de abo ice mai... pour ma part son comportement a étais quand même toxic déjà contre MR Androide sa a commencer a me chauffer mai contre River sa a bien confirmé mes doutes par contre j'avoue qu'il est fort mai vite répétitif se qui a du peser pour sa défaite deja contre river mai aussi contre wing bref river et un grand maitre du temp sur les rounds du coup ses pas fair play de la par de ice bref en 2024 il se re inscrit mai esperont qu'il se serra calmer et soigner son attitude bref beatboxer a fort potentiel vraiment ouff d'ailleur je verrais bien un Osis vs abo ice mon dieu jai hate du gbb24. Merci alem vivement le fbb24 aussi😂👍.

I know it's for the battle, mais quand même. Touching may lead to some minus points, it would be very unfortunate to lose because of that. But I don't know how the judging system went about this one battle
The judges doesn't seem to know how to act either, based on D-Low reaction. He said that he actually ask himself if yeah, the touch was instantly a DQ for Ice or not.
In the end and for this specific case, I think River's performance made the winner clear. It was a 5/0, no need to even bring this point to the table. But still, the question will have to be answered in a soon future.
Le premier round d'abo ice manque de musicalité dans la structure, ça sonne plus commun même si les sons sont innovants (incroyable du coup!) et puissants mais River fait un perfect sur la prestation trompète de qualité et très technique (plus que son opposant je dirais même) alors avec la structure de son 2ème round il est plus aggresif et fait plus de "spams très variés en techniques" mais c'est quand même (encore) associé à une une certaines musicalité qu'il maitrise de fou River big training, Abo come out from no where c'est plaisant de voir qu'il connait les anciennes structure pour juste TABASSER xD mais son 2ème round est très bien amené il rattrappe cette différence quand même.. avec la pression de l'instant j'aurais vraiment pas aimé choisir ici, sans compter les affects et le spectacle c'est impossible pour moi xDDD

I thought that "It's a sandstorm," and "machine gun" were the two weakest and least impressive part of Abo Ice's sets. They were supposed to be the most impressive parts. They were supposed to be drops, but to me they were nothing burgers compared to everything leading up to those "drop."
Sandstorm was crazy drop, best imo. But the machine gun was weak
But thing is that sand drop was not last drop of his routine. There is 1 more drop that adds to it, but he waste to much time saying "bro act like sandman"
If there is a writing rules who imply "no touching" , you have to respect the rules a lilttle ( or you show us a lake of control )

Energy , ok but if we allow "touching " , man , i push the guy back if comes to me directly.....so imagine this kind of behavior with "not peaceful minded guy" .
You can talk trash , it's beatbox , you can imitate to joke around , you can do everything but TOUCHING is Agression and it's not the purpose of this show/competition

Abo has been good ( but the touching causes point for sure) in the 1st round
The second round is history
Abo ice has collapse under his own pressure because he needs to bring down the opposent energy by this street battle feeling ( lil be more touchy and dirty )
River was ready to start those 2 round and he didn't need to be touchy battler to finish him
He has the all REPERTOIRE of technic and the "no touch to hit hard" attitude against "not respect a basic rules too far"
But i 'm pretty sure that River had 2 or 3 round set in his mind
just in case can't he be the winner of the heads or tails
IF Abo ice had the confident like his agression style , his first round start could be more hard to counter for River . But this notion of i don't want to start is an old tought because you don't know what the other was cooking...
Now with media , you know your opposent MORE THANN BEFORE .. Espacially with the wild card so ... If you are that good , you can start the battle and win also . It's sport and everything can be UNPREDICTABLE when it's live!

What the fuck, why are you so picky about the response of any beatboxers. It's their style of doing contra. You don't have to judge it. Any answer is good - like, I can do it as well as you, but it's too easy for me. Something like that, I do not think that the answer should take up half of the battle, it would be just copying already.
Being picking is his job dude. He's been judging high level beatbox competitions for a long time.
